My friend's dad has a handgun that was used in a crime (robbery) 10 years ago that he is willing to sell to me for $200 less than market value. It's got its numbers filed off so I think it's ok. Should I?
I'm tired of being noguns.
>>33125246
its a hi-pointe 9mm and he's selling it for only $55
>>33125206
>It's got its numbers filed off so I think it's ok.
go for it. in fact, you should post pics on Facebook after friending your local police department and the BATFE. they will congratulate you on your wise purchase.
you are doing the right thing, anon. this is how you succeed.
>>33125206
nice try atf
Is it legal to buy atropine/NAAK and carry it in New York City? I live here and take the subways everyday and worry about nerve agent attacks. Am I just being too paranoid? I always think about the 1995 sarin attack in the Tokyo subway
I wouldn't worry about it
>>33125152
The 2-PAM and the Atropine in the NAAK is a prescription drug. Same for the Valium that's also given.
I don't think you'll have much luck at RiteAid, and I wouldn't want to inject myself with something bought through questionable means.
>>33125152
Epi-pens might offer some protection, but the actual NAAK is not available OTC or through other legal means.
They also have a fairly short expiration date, so I'd be very very leery about buying them through unofficial channels.
How does it make you feel that one day your grandchildren will look at this "antique gun" the same way we look at mosins?
Also how much do you think weapon platforms with have changed 50-100 years down the line
>>33124907
>tfw my grandchilluns won't know what a weapon is thanks to HRC
>How does it make you feel that one day your grandchildren will look at this "antique gun" the same way we look at mosins?
No, they'll look at them the same way we look at 80s era M16s and Colt Commandos. The AR will change, but its not going anywhere for a long time yet. My descendants may have rifles that shoot ferrous slugs with superconductive barrels, but those rifles will be using AR lowers.
>>33124907
I strongly suspect that AR15-looking rifles will still be in widespread production and that it will have assumed a place in the firearms pantheon like the 1911: something everyone makes, always has, and always will. No one looks at a 1911 and says "wow what an old gun" unless it actually is old.
>Bought Martini
>Take it apart
>block and barrel and striker etc. all 100% fine
>the walls of the action look like this (after a bit of WD40 and a rag)
Do I move up to steel wool or should I just do something to stop it getting any worse?
>>33124626
If it doesn't have any value to you try using some flitz on a rag. It should remove the rust.
>>33124638
I won't be selling it any time soon but it does have value
I've been thinking lately, /k/. There's not a ton of sources on history of ~2004 and ~2005 era /k/, and probably fewer posters around from that time. Is it possible we can compile significant events and store them somewhere?
Watching this shock and awe live on the TV in the high school library was pure 2003 kino
>>33124440
I remember that shit a bit clearly, I was pretty young at the time. I regret not joining up in the mid-2000s and waiting until I missed all that shit. I bet there was a load of Iraq War vet /k/ posters in those early years.
Hey guys! I've seen a very nice looking Luger carbine here. It was a full carbine using the Luger action. Do you by any means have the picture? Pic unrelated
>>33124128
HAhahaha because black people I get it hahahahha

gtfo nigger/marxist.
Hey /k/, I figured I'd ask this here since its most suited to this board:
In early April of 2016, I bought a Russian GP-5 gas mask from a stall in Berlin, just for a bit of a laugh. I've worn it 2-3 times while cleaning the toilet, ect. for no more than half an hour at a time. Its only recently that I have heard that GP-5 filters can/could have asbestos in them. Is there any likelihood that I may end up with asbestos damage later in life or any other lung issues? I ask this for a friend as well who also bought one, but I have no idea if he has worn his at all in the past year.
Mask came identical to picture with a small rubber plug in the bottom of the filter. Thanks in advance /k/.
>>33123837
Did you get a GP-5 or a GP-6? Both look fairly similar, as I own a GP-5 which has a coal based filter.
Asbestos hasn't been used in Soviet filters since the late 40s/early 50s.
>>33123863
this is true but i wouldn't put it past the ruskies to still use it sometimes
anyway mesothelioma usually is caused by prolonged exposure OP, I wouldn't worry about it
>1924
>six-engine plane
Wait, what?
>>33123598
Fuck you and your gay anime crap.
>>33123598
>1929
>twelve-engine plane
Wait, what?
The plane from that is the Me-323 which didn't exist until the 40s, but anime is dumb and that's nothing new.

>retard no gunz /a/ faggot
>>>/a/

This guy is such a badass. Does /k/ think he deserves the title of /ourguy/
No, because he's a deranged and autistic luddite.
>>33123163
story?
>>33123163
NOT /K/ RELATED. FUCK OFF.
Are chlorine and ammonia molotov cocktails practical in enclosed spaces?
Looking from a home or looting defence perspective.
>>33123016
How big should the container be?
If the bottle is too small, gallon jars can be used.
>>33123016
Yes, intentionally releasing a cloud of poison gas in your own home sounds like a fantastic idea. Try it out and let us know how it goes.
>>33123016
Nerve gas is better.
You are driving home in the rain, and on the freeway you see a man in the fog. You slow down due to the heavy downpour. You pull up and see that the man is in an army uniform, in full gear with weapon and all. You immideately stop to see if the man needs a ride. He gets in and asks you to take him into town to his girlfriends house.
You agree and set off, the address is on your way home. On the way there you two make friends and he tells you a secret about himself. He was a deserter, who was planning to leave the country. You ask why???
He looks at you and says that there is a massive nuclear exchange coming and a Third World War coming. He insists that there is still two weeks and that you should make preparations but not tell anyone due to the fact that the exchange will be set off sooner if you alert the public.
>What equipment do you get in the two weeks you have. What plans do you make?
>Post pic of what your primary would be,
>be realistic to what you could get where you are
Sounds like I'd be getting my dick sucked by a stolen valor fag because hitch hikers gotta pay and daddy's money buys me plenty of weed and gas
>>33122855
You know, I can see you're trying to make a serious thread, but you really need to shorten it up. That whole thing could have been summed up to:
>Nuclear war is coming, you have 2 weeks to prepare, what kind of preparations can you actually make for that?
But no, you had to go with that whole shitty background story. Now every post is going to be like >>33122875 responding with sum variation of "hurr fag's lying I don't do shit".
Delete thread and try again.
>>33122855
MARPAT?
"fuck off" as I lulz away into the night
I wish I never shot a gun. Today was my first time shooting a handgun, glock 26 gen 3 to be exact. I wish I never knew what it is like to feel that kind of power in my hands. It's intoxicating. I wish I never knew what it's like to be on the right end of a gun, because I now fear what it's like to be on the wrong end of one. One session of poor low to the left shooting has made me grow up more in a day, than in the rest of my life.
>>33122635
/k/ is not your shitty blog go somewhere else
Careful you don't get PTSD like that shitty reporter who shot an AR-15 once.
>>33122767
It's not like that. It was a surreal experience. I'll admit I was nervous as fuck, but it was a lot of fun at the same time. It kinda bases you in reality, one little solid projectile can turn your on switch off.
If you lived with your parents, and made 40k a year, what would you buy?
>>33122568
a house, because I'm not a freeloading faggot
>>33122568
somewhere else to live
>>33122568
An apartment.
