I'm fat, miserable, and have no prospects. So I wish to enter a specific line of work relevant to this board. What physique will be most advantageous to said line of work?
Also no, I don't meet mob hitter. I just think pic related is neat and semi related
Youre fuckin ten ply bud
If you're fat you can forget about being a lol assassin.
Could be a handler, tho.
Used to be small time mma. Got bored and let myself go though so I know how to be /fit/, just haven't had call to in a couple of years
Found on german mil. training ground.
Black ones are plastic blank rounds for 5.56.
Why aren't plastic blank rounds more popular in military training?
>>33135469
If I were to venture a guess it would be because it takes out the weight. Plastic blanks are much lighter than brass ones let alone live ammo. So most militaries want their soldiers to be used to carrying the weight of real ammo
>>33135536
>>33135469
Basically it's because weight of plastic case is not immersive enough to the real thing.
Which is a stupid reason because they are still blanks
>>33135536
>>33135659
That does make some sense, but it's still lighter without the bullet so... Not really...
They could give soldiers some led squares to put on the bottom of the ammo pouch, if they want to "keep it realz".
Live in Australia but want to own nice guns, getting a license here takes lots of time and money and I may not receive one due to mental health issues. What do /k/?
>>33135388
Stop having mental issues. It's pretty easy. I'm doing it right now actually
>>33135395
If it was easy i would have stopped by now, but depression is a bitch

You're not fit to own a firearm
Let that sink in cunt

>expanding bullets are banned for warfare because they're considered inhumane
>but expanding bullets are mandatory for hunting to ensure you kill targets humanely
>>33134765
Holy shit
I have often wondered this myself.
Politicians are retarded, so it doesn't really surprise me. I want there to be some conspiracy but its just idiocy.
>>33134765
i think the deal is they want to mitigate death, and non expanding bullets do not kill as often as expanding bullets.
A simple observation?
What can I do to redpill my wife on guns? I only have a glock for CC. I want to have a good size collection someday. We are financially stable and my upcoming job will pay more than enough for living expenses. How can I convince her?
No dude you do this BEFORE you marry the bitch.
Shoot this one and start over.

>>33134457
No its an auto loader.
>>33134507
>>33134457
The only big drawback is that you can't swap already loaded ammunition. And sometimes when the mechanism isn't properly seviced it fails to fully seat the propelant, but that's the crew's fault.
The only thing i could hold against the T-72's autoloading system is a lack of compressed air system, unlike the Leclerc for instanse. It would have been way more effectiuve than the bore evacuator..
Which caliber of bullet is easiest to dodge?

I'm from Alberta and I'm thinking about buying a gun for home defence. Just something small. But I've been looking at the laws and it seems pretty restrictive. So would it be worth getting a gun for home defence at all?
>>33134205
Buy a Norinco or Dominion Arms pump action.
Buying a non-restricted is really not a big deal.
>>33134205
Protip I've heard, never write home defence on your PAL
I'm also an Alberta pleb, from what I know most of the time as long as you use "reasonable force" meaning you don't shoot someone who wants to jack your DVD player and rather wants to kill you, they don't really charge you.
Honestly the entire Canadian system is fucked IMO and I really wish we had a lot more of the laws the States have. Running drills and shit with plates and full-capacity ARs would be nice. None of the BS limiting everything.
>>33134222
Would you recommend something smaller? Just to keep close by at night.

Whats the /k/onsensus on paying for tactical and range training like this? I wouldn't even say I want to be very fast or try to pretend to be an operator but I just want to shoot moar and doing stationary holster draws gets boring.
>pro
Doing tactical training and shoot house stuff isn't often something you can do without going to a class. Gun clubs and outdoor/indoor ranges want you to show up, slowly shoot one magazine into a target 5 feet away then go home. Moving and shooting and shit is fun.
>con
Usually every instructor has a laundry list of opinions they force on you, most having never actually used lethal force. You do get to move and shoot and such but usually its by their rules and it may be over controlled ruining the fun. You'll prolly deal with a bunch of tacticool wanabes in the class when all I want to do is shoot moar and in different scenarios
>pay for tactical range training?
>>33133319
I think training like that is retarded for most people if you're not in the infantry or some police SRT and going to go kill people in urban environments.
military units do not go to places that wind up on youtube.
And anyway, go to the range and learn to shoot accurately.
>>33133319
if you have "fuck you" money and want to do it for fun go ahead. Academi and their advanced ranges are for contractors and LE.
If you are a normal guy there isnt a need for it. There are other classes you can do at facilities like academi where you get to move a bit but at the same time isnt a $3000 operator certification package that has no use unless you're on the job.
That looks pretty cool OP not gonna lie but the practicality of such a place for the average gun owner is just not there.
I do tactical drills from time to time just as something fun to do that's also good practice for defensive shooting, but I also don't have to shoot at public ranges. But having shoot houses like that may not be a successful business model. It'd be better if you had something like an easily configurable range that people could set up like their job or home. Like a bunch of targets and rolling wooden frames that had something light and non-transparent as walls all inside a big hesco or concrete courtyard.
Either way I'd def shoot in that shoot house if it were nearby so there is some market at least.
Okay I have a stupid question
With any USP pistols am I able to simply pull the trigger without having to cock it just like you can with a makarov pistol if the first strike doesn't set off the first hit or do I have to cock it each time like you would with once of those old revolvers that requires a pull first on the hammer before firing?
>>33133214
It's double action.

Yes I'm serious, a fudd. The idea that Surefire and only Surefire can make a light decent enough to stand up to "combat" is not only retarded but completely obsolete, which brings it in line with most of the things fudds believe.
