hiya /k/
so my boyfriend has been practising throwing his spear in our front yard this afternoon, he's getting really good just straightening out his positioning.
meanwhile all this time one of our weird neighbours who nobody talks to has been watching us through his window.
I don't think he knows we can see him, but we've noticed him taking pictures of my boyfriend.
So we're abit worried, we know he's obsessed over guns as he's always running around his room at night naked pretending to be some kind of operator.
Should my boyfriend be prepared to use his spear to stop him attacking us? Or should we make the first move and attack him?

You should definitely kill yourself.
>>33152048
preemptive spear chucking?
>>33152048
Sounds like he's a nice guy. You should bring him a case of beer as a "Hello" gift. Get the crazy guy on your side
What is the cheapest possible shotgun that won't break before having fired 50 shots and will kill someone with a shot to the base of the skull.
>>33151939
A length of galvanized pipe with a nail in the end of it.
>>33151939
>and will kill someone with a shot to the base of the skull.
No shotgun meets this requirement, sorry lad
I'd you want to kill yourself why are you concerned with saving money?
Buy a Barrett on credit and use that.
So, /k/, what service rifles have seen the most wars/conflicts? Which have served the longest? Pic related, mosin Nagant.
Isn't it obvious?
>>33151978
Yeah that. Before it, the Mauser 98 rifle and its many derivatives.

Martini Henry
Lee Enfields
Madsens

LEO question:
In Lethal Weapon Murtaugh is close to retirement, yet Danny Glover was only 41 years old.
Is that a normal age for cops to retire or more like Hollywood casting?
>>33151718
>only 41
>only
have you ever spoken to a 40 year old?
>>33151740
protip: I _am_ almost 40 years old.
Man, typing that out hurts.
Police officers qualify for full retirement after 20 years of service. Their pension is essentially half-pay for the rest of their life, iirc. That's why police officers tend to do a shit-ton of OT the year prior to retiring.

ITT: Weapons with bad reputation that did nothing wrong
I wasn't aware the F-105 had a bad reputation. Would you care to elaborate?
>>33149324
It was called the Thud, or triple threat.
It could drop a bomb on you, shoot you with it's gun, and finally "the damn thing could fall on you too."
It got the rep for getting shot down by AA fire a lot. On the flip flop, it was an unexpected mig killing machine.
When I was in the Airforce my final base was Edwards, Edwards like a retirement home for every miltiary project and all its workers...ever. I have heard first hand stories from maintainers who lived their lives deployed, on carriers, overseas, in thailand supporing vietnam, etc, etc.
The F-105 apparently was legend, the moment the water injectors kicked in the flame would turn from blue to orange and the jet would kick off.

I have an entrenchment shovel from my gramps. It's pretty rusty and I think the threads might be rusty. How should I go about breaking them free and cleaning it up?
>>33149050
Mix some HCL and bleach to form a cleaning agent that'll strip that shit off.

Is there any real advantage to a pistol-calibre weapon having a gas-operated action?
Pic related is the Type 79 Submachinegun, which fires 7.62x25mm Tokarev
>>33148996
you dont have fuck huge bolt slamming all over the place
>>33148996
Gas piston, lighter bolt, and a decent spring could mean you never have to hit the back of the receiver and deposit energy in the shoulder. So, lighter recoil.
>>33148996
also, higher firerate
