Never say never. Start reading studies from conflict studies and small arms survey to understand the industry and countermeasures.
Then decide; Europe or South America?

I recently came into possession of a Makarov pistol. It's part of a collection left to me by my dad. It's a Baikal and I'm trying to figure out more about this thing. The markings seem to indicate that it wasn't produced in Russia, or maybe not fully-assembled there. Googling brings back very little. Aside from the standard markings and the serial number, it reads "PC 2418." Is this maybe a Chinese model? I've browsed all the other forums and you're my only hope.
>>33156111
baikal is russian company that exports 'sporter' makarovs. military versions have not adjustable rear sights. overall its a mak so its g2g
>>33156111
Dick Grips.
Also checked.
That Makarov is the commercial model made for export. Most collectors want the military ones with the fixed sights. I would value yours at about 300-350. If it was military Russian it could double that.
Is .44 mag a meme or is it fun to shoot? Been thinking of picking one up.
I know of no one who owns a .44 mag that actually enjoys shooting the bugger.
You can always download it with trailboss for drastically reduced recoil and cheap shooting then hotrod it with some H110 when you want. If you're looking for something with decent shelf priced ammo, 38/357 or 40/10mm may be better.
>>33155946
You probably don't know very many people.
44 mag is very fun to shoot. It is light recoiling enough to not be overly punishing but also comes in plenty of well made and accurate guns. It is probably about the limit for what most people can comfortably shoot from a pistol for an extended period.>>33155946

Are these oper8r?
>>33155178
They are functional in the desert and neat looking in the right context. They are insanely tryhard and cringe when worn by stateside people trying to look "hard". Some militia faggot or macho gun instructor loses extra points when they wear one of these like a fashion item.
>>33155219
I wear mine in the winter, they're perfect for the face because they are thin but catch your breath and warm up your cheeks.
They're for operating the espresso machine in the starcucks.

/k/ is the last pure board, all others have been tainted by porn and /r9k/
We have /pol/ threads constantly
>>33155095
lol no
>>33155106
this, the great /pol/ newfag influx has taken a toll on quality on /k/ since the two boards share a ton of posters
>>33155169
/k/ used to be great, most of the banter was day /k/are vs. night /k/, which there was a big difference on board topics and responses. Now a days it's/pol/ fags shitting up the place. You literally can't start a thread without someone "niggers" and "spics". I used to hate that the admins said no more gun control talk on /k/ but at this point total political talk should be banned.

nigga we've already had threads about this.
>Would utility would you want it to have if it was given to your squad?
I wouldn't have it in my squad, half a Tachikoma without AI and a personality is no fun. I'll wait until 2030 when the proper version debuts, hopefully by then I can also have a cyberbrain and a prosthetic body and shiiiiieeeeeeeet
