>The L Manlets rarely reach, and the XL Manlets barely reach

this, if you're tall you still need to buy big sizes, even if it looks like you're wearing a tarp
I think that might have more to do with xl and xxl not being produced as much vs fatties
What is this piece called? I believe it helps direct the ejection of the spent casings but I can't find the name of this piece.

I'm an active cop, 7 years on the job. Been in some sticky situations had to take a few lives on the way all part of the job you get used to it.
I know when I'm on patrol i have my partners back and he has mine. Always be on the lookout, never too complacent. It's a tough life policing this mall but someone's gotta do it.

How often should you clean out copper in an AR bore? What products do you like to use?
>>33164680
It isn't necessary. Contrary to what your fellow anons will tell you the AR-15 rifle is in a class of its own, far superior to the AK-47 in every possible way.
>>33164680
don't be lazy.
fully disassemble and clean guns after every usage.
>>33164768
I get the general cleaning after every usage. I do that after every range trip. I was talking about more thorough cleans for copper and lead fouling
Front sight of my Colt 1911 has gotten dirty from all the firing I've been doing in the ghetto... best way to clean it? Windex? Gun oil? Thanks guys.
>>33164640
When mine gets like that I use a mixture of polystyrene beads and kerosene. I rub it on the dirty part of the gun and then hold it over an open flame. A chain reaction occurs and forces the dirt out of the finish so you can wipe it off with a rag.
>>33164760
I too like setting off improvised napalm in contact with sensitive, high-value metal tools.
Rubbing alchohol + Q-tips = Fuck off.

I was thinking of getting pic related for my range pistol but then I read around somewhere that doing that would turn it into an SBR.
How much dose a tax stamp cost, $200? Would you spend that much on a 50$ accessory? Why dose anybody care if I bolt a stick onto the end of my gun?
>>33163304
Although im sure this is bait, i'll bite. Adding a vertical foregrip to your handgun turns it into what the ATF classifies as an "AOW" (any other weapon). To register as an AOW you must pay a $5 tax stamp.
pic kinda related.
no , it wont turn your pistol into an sbr wtf?
Here's the actual ATF letter on the subject
Just use an AFG and you'll be fine

Didn't see one so I made one. What are your favorite boots for....
>Operating
>Hiking
>Every day use
I just got a pair of Jungle boots and god damn are these things fucking comfy. Cant wait to operate/hike with them.
>>33163121
Lol. By far the most uncomfortable boot I've ever worn. We were issued these I'm Korea wth the ridge soles and they are absolute shit. I had desert colors in iraq that has ripple soles so it's not the sole. There is just zero padding and that nylon will crease and start digging into your achilles on long range patrols.
I noticed these boots are popular with larpers and military want to be's that never served.
I wear civilian hiking boots because ib hate how every faggot wears military boots every chance they get. Too try hard for me.
Anything Danner are literally the best boots you can buy.
>>33163121
I have a black pair of these. The soles are absolute ass but they are aesthetic as fuck. I might wear them for hiking but not for actual operating
>>33163121
The winterized air force boots are pretty nice. The gortex lining prevents the rough inside from rubbing through your socks.
>the military is getting a new sidearm
>I'm just hype for all the cheap surplus M9s that'll be flooding the market soon
>Don't get your hopes up. Those guns are going to be rounded up, systematically broken, carted to Korea or somewhere, and sold for 1/2 their weight in scrap steel all at taxpayer expense. Then somehow wind up in Syria or the next hotspot regardless. In seriousness though, I'm fairly certain they passed a law saying "LOL, fuck you taxpayer whose money paid for the guns" and said no more U.S. milsurp firearms get sold to the public. The CMP was formed before this, and even still has a clause that says only they can do it, and only in .30 and .45 caliber firearms. (9mm is about .357 cal.)
>>33162979
>systematically broken
What exactly do you think decades of military service does to a handgun?
>>33162979
Most of those m9s are probably gonna be rode hard and hung up wet anyway.
>>33163223
Can confirm. Muhreens regularly get issued M9s that can never hope to function again. Machine gunners keep the useless garbage because otherwise they have to carry M4s in addition to the 240B.
I've seen these things, nothing less than an unmitigated disaster.
