this thread sucks
Have a MICH2000, likely going to sell and get an Ops-Core bump. Idk we will see, I dont really have a use for a helmet atm.
>>33546444
What's the consensus on Ops core high cuts? Worth the four figures or no.
If no, then any solid alternatives to look around at?
How's /k/ holding up?

Is this the most aesthetic military aircraft ever?
Yes.
No.
Yes.
/onegun/ here. I'm looking to buy a full-size or compact 9mm handgun. I don't want another Glock; I'm leaning towards a SIG P320. What does /k/ recommend?
>>33540941
P320 is a good gun. Most people find the trigger very agreeable out of the box, and the grips are quite comfy. Other than that its just another basic poly framed wonder nine. If you're a /onegun/ and already have a Glock and want to diversify, maybe look into DA/SA guns? That's not to say that the P320 doesn't differ internally from glocks, it's just that the shooting experience is pretty much the same.
Currently looking at DA/SA guns. What does /k/ like? I a p229 legion sounds great.
Also considering a Beretta 92fs.
>>33541013
The only thing I dislike about the P320 is the high bore axis. Does it make any bit of difference?

What ammo would you shoot out of this if it was your girlfriend's first 'don't get raped at 5 yards pistol?
I was looking at segmented CCI, but I doubt they would cycle.
>>33540251
I would never want to use an automatic .22 for self defense. You MIGHT have a (shitty) case for a revolver but never an automatic. Doubly so for a woman.
If the segmented's don't cycle, I'd get Velociters or Stingers
>>33540251
cci velocitors don't bother with stingers if you can't find velocitors, get 40 grain mini mags
Why do 9mememeter even exist when we literally have .45 ACP ?
Protip: you cant
>>33538951
How did ww2 reports with mentioning the lethality of 9mm result into the wimpy round of the 50,60s,70s? where did they get 9mm for all those luger bring backs?
>>33538951
I own a .45 and it's my only pistol...But I get the purpose of a 9.
It's big or many, I went with big, I wouldn't mind getting a many.
Maybe Glock, maybe not...dunno...

What sort of nuclear weapon(s) would it take to destroy the Three Gorges Dam in the event of China going to war with the US, India, or Russia?
>>33536271
I don't have your answer, bus I will speculate wildly until undercover Oppenheimer shows up.
I would imagine if someone was truly going to go that route, instead of leaving it intact so they could use the infrastructure post invasion, then they would want two or three medium yield weapons set to go off immediately above the surface, or if possible under water very near the dam, around dead center where it will be weakest.
obviously the warheads would be timed to not arrive simultaneously.
>>33536271
One
Large
wouldn't need a nuclear weapon.
A GBU-57a/b or two on the backside of the dam would be sufficient.
I'm about to trade my Sig Mosquito for one of those Interarms Rossi 62A takedown rifles with an octagon barrel.
I've always liked browning designs. What do you tards think? Good deal?
Everything included on my end.

Give thanks to Polybus for keeping /wfg/ afloat.
It's been unscientifically proven that a lack of (you)s for writers can lead depression, alcoholism, story abandonment, and an hero.
But it's so easy to make a difference in a writer's life. Just one (you) a day can make the difference between a happy writer and a writer on permanent hiatus.
Please, post now. Help make a writer's day.

Im looking at a Springfield M1903 in the early 50000 range, its got an 1919 dated barrel and its got O.G.E.K. stamps on a C-Stock. But it doesnt have a straight down bolt like other low number guns have. It seems like it might have been a WW2 referb since its got a later Remington marked bolt. Should I get?
I want a decent milsurp bolt action under $400. What would you buy?
