Model 1894 made in 1954 with norinco 1911.
Thinkin' of hunting. Deer/boar.
CZ 527 (carbine? american?) or Tikka T3 (...lite?)
>>33606245
either will work fine
>>33606245
Tikka is a really good rifle, but I would get the wooden stocked version. I really don't like factory plastic stocks. Get it in 30-06.
Winchester model 70 in 270 is also really good, but it's best to replace the Winchester's trigger with a Timney.

No 7.62×39?

Also working on a few other designs, but nothing ready to post just yet
Who were the bravest soldiers in history? My vote goes to the Japs. Say what you want about them, you have to give them respect for being so tough. Despite overwhelming odds, they fought to the death and kept their dignity.
>>33605927
strosstruppe and their entente and central powers equivilents
There's a difference between bravery and stupidity yo. Mindlessly sacrificing all your experienced troops in suicide attacks is most definitely the latter.
>>33605968
Kamikaze attacks did kill a lot of American sailors. Given the circumstances, the Japanese pilots probably would have been killed anyway.
What is /k/ planning for their next handgun purchase?
I'm thinking about grabbing up an P30L in the near future.
>>33605895

Garbage
1911 by Sig. Some anon in a "Just bought this, what does /k/ think?" thread sold me on a particular one.

>>33605164
This, add in a transfer fee of usually at least $20 and it's pretty much nothing.
I swear in on either Thursday or FRIDAY and I want to know if you guys have any advice for me.
>>33604968
Haha queer.

While taking the oath, let out a massive fart while holding a straight face, then see if the oath proctor can do the same
Try to get yourself to a reasonable fitness level before you ship out, your recruiter should have a PFT booklet for you. When you get to basic shut up and listen and try not to be a buddy-fucker.
Okay, what the fucking hell. I thought these things were cool until I actually bought one. Why the fuck do current year ammo manufacturers fucking put ammo in this metal box? I didn't have the can opener for it and I had to murder one of my knives for this and fucking pound a hammer against the fucking tin. This shit pissed me off.
It's not the can's fault your a retard for not having basic hand tools.
You can't possibly be this retarded, right? Also, even if it's for ammo, it's a fucking can. You can't open a fucking can?
Here, because you seem to be a mouth breathing retard
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6hrHpUJmEg
>I didn't have the can opener
Oh for christ's sake, just treat it like a big can of baked beans. They're nowhere near as tough to open as you're describing
Okay,
I work in contracting and find myself using my folding knife often opening bags, cutting strapping, etc. But something a but bigger would be useful. I work in some shit areas too so wouldn't mind having a larger knife on me either.
But what I am looking for is a good fixed blade all purpose utility knife. Nothing so big as a Ka-bar, I was thinking something similar to an old Navy MkI knife? What do you guys think, any good suggestions?
>>33604853
A box cutter.
>>33604862
> wouldn't mind having a larger knife on me
>Dur, box cutter
>>33605003
They make large box cutters. Are you also implying that box cutters can not be used in a defensive situation? You don't want a tool, you want a fashion statement then retard.
Anyone here 3D print an AR lower?
I just tried one, but my dumb ass neglected to verify some basic dimensions in Inventor prior to printing and the result is slightly undersized. Good thing I printed it with 10% infill so it's basically a shell and "only" took 8 hours to print.
Anyone have any recommendations for a "durable" receiver I could print?
>>33604755
Bump for interest
>>33604755
You're supposed to print it solid. Also, shit shrinks, how much depends on the material, slicing parameters (how exactly the plastic is squirted out, in what shape, order, and density), and printer. You should expect to spend a couple days on testing alone because every printing setup is special.
The Def Dist receiver is basically as solid as you can get without being ridiculous. Go find the FOSSCAD repo if you want more options.
>>33605078
I know how 3D printing works. This model is undersized and I neglected to check it and scale it or pick a different one. Pic related is of the magwell which measure to the same ID as the OD of a STANAG within a couple of thou. The buffer tube hole is also way too small.
I'm in the process of beefing up the Aliamanu-Phobos. Will post in-process screenshot next.
