Just found out my Great Grandfather fought at the Battle of Vimy Ridge in WW1. Apparently he won two medals and when he returned home he went insane.
I'm 25 and I feel like a faggot for not having served or experienced any combat, anyone else the same?
>>33622436
Join the military then
>>33622436
Not at all
Grandfather was airborne in the Second World War
Never talked about it
Never liked fireworks
Got addicted to cigs and alcohol
Died of cancer
>>33622436
No I served. My grandpa is the faggot.
Just kidding, he was an RO but he served between WW2 and Korea.
This is going to get "why would I serve the totallirian military Industry" blah blah real quick.
>SEALs so tough

Not meth, roids.

I don't understand why the seals love to talk about their shit all the time.
Do other countries' special forces do this shit too? When a guy retires from the SAS does he go off to write a book, make a movie and talk to the media about all their dirty secrets?
Adderall and steroids
Guess we're finally going through with it

From what I have seen so far everyone on this board seems to hate the m16a2, I whonder what /k/ thinks of the m16a4?
I whonder why you made this shit thread
>>33622024
Careful, as soon as you say "what /k/ thinks of the M16A2" MilSurpDude and his but buddies come outta the wood work and try telling you how much of a piece of shit it is, putting all of their justification and talking points behind a 30 year old document. Despite the fact that we switched to the A2 and provided satisfactory results.
These are the same people that said we should have kept using the A1 even though only 3rd world countries only use it nowadays.
>>33622060
Anon, I think you're forgetting the most important aspect of firearms design.

Ruger american or weatherby vanguard.
So since Spain has started to REE again about Gibraltar what do you think would happen if Spain invaded Gibraltar? How quickly would the UK btfo them? Would the UK have to invade Spain or would there be sanctions then Spain would give it back? Speculate /k/ommandos!
The UK need to learn from falklands and send their assets to defend the rock.
>>33621771
The rock is one big air base protected by the legendary RAF regiment.
>>33621785
Why do people with desk jobs in units where half of the numbers are on chits get at the RAF Regiment?
PJI for 22 SAS was former RAF Regiment and thoroughly liked.
Why is no one talking about this?
Basically, the USAF, RAF and FAF are gonna have an exercise with F-22s, F-35s, Rafales and Typhoons which is pretty cool
and a single F5!!
The news about Syria and North Korea is overshadowing it. Exercises don't mean shit when there could be a hot war in ten minutes.

Hey boyos, I need some advice on a job specific .22.
I run a trap line in northern minnesota, and I need an pretty light .22 rifle (Not the shitty ar7) as I'm carrying 60+ pounds of traps, tools, and supplies at all times, not counting my l00t.
I have a shitload of .22 (pic somewhat related), and am hoping to put a can on it if HPA passes so threadable would be sick.
Restrictions are compact, lightweight, magazine fed, and sub 300$
I appreciate any help :*
Also, .22 thread
>inb4 10/22
>>33621618
Get a drag sled for your gear. That's what I do when I longline. A .22 magnum revolver will handle dispatch for anything just fine and you can just stick it in your belt. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but that's what you need.
>>33621618
>compact, lightweight, magazine fed, and sub 300$
>doesn't want an AR7
hey /k/ i have asked this befor but i belive i worded it poorly i need a calibre for 1000 yard shooting but that will also be good for "running deer" the range i shoot at has a moving deer target at around 100 yards you shout pull it runs out from behind some wood and you shoot but it also has another setting where it stops poking out from the wood and you shoot it once then it runs and you shoot it again so i need a calibre that can do both shoot at 1000 yards and have low recoil so i can get quick follow up shots on the deer target most people use .223/5.56 for the deer and another gun for long distance but i want one gun for both 1000yards and running deer
6.5 grendel could work.
>>33621592
Who taught you how to hunt? Deer driving is done on foot, not with shooting. Hell my wife drives deer and she doesn't even hunt.
You just go in the woods and walk towards the hunter, you kick em up and they go towards the hunter. Plus what are you shooting at 1000 yards?

Daily reminder carrying with an Empty Chamber is retarded and will get you killed.

Daily reminder that trying to quickdraw your way out of an ambush is suicide.
If your opponent has the drop on you, he has the drop. The whole idea of defensive carry is that you have your eyes open and react to danger before it occurs, not after.
>>33621414
No to everything you said. I didn't watch your gay movie either, I don't work for you bitch.
>>33621464
He doesn't, the carrier waits until he has the opportunity and the robber is distracted but is critically delayed by the amount of time necessary to chamber a round. It's a small amount of time to be sure but it's enough that the carrier dies.
Carrying empty chamber is retarded.
does the range finder on this scope work?
yes
hint:
it's a million times better than anything western scopes have made for combat shooting. Any retard could use it.
>>33621363
No they just made it for shits and giggles.
>>33621371
That's why we just built rangefinders, anon
