Just got the levergat I won off gunbroker, it looks like the hammer doesn't strike the firing pin, but nothing is damaged or missing. This is my first lever action so probably I'm just retarded, took a slow mo video of a dry fire and it seems like maybe it does contact on a trigger pull and just resets fast? Is there a mechanism in the trigger that allows the hammer to move to a more forward position? I can't shoot it until tomorrow and the ignorant paranoia is killing me.

What's the most effective armor-piercing ammunition civilians can legally own in the US? Both for rifles and for handguns (not just the five-seven, fuck off).
Pic related is the best I can find, but there's very little info on how well it works, especially against actual armor.

Serious question. What do other nations like Russia or China tell their pilots in terms of combatting the F-22A? How can you possibly train to one day engage an aircraft with a 221:0 kill ratio? It just seems absolutely demoralizing to even think about trying to defeat it when you're probably flying some antiquated SU-27 or a MiG-29.
