What is the maximum amount you're willing to spend on .22lr
7¢?
8¢?
10¢?
>>33632635
I'd say a dime a shot is my personal limit.
Airguns may well become the new training tool of choice for young hazfuns. They keep getting cheaper and deadlier and more accurate and more cost-effective.
>>33632635
6 or 7 cents a round is the highest I'd go
>>33632635

>if I'm truly out of it
>and I won't shoot it often if I'm paying that much
So I am a senior in highschool, 18 years old, and leave for parris island at the end of May with an infantry contract. Will I miss the upcoming war with the Norks or Isis? Or will I be finished with boot, and infantry school in enough time to be there during all of the big stuff about to happen?

there's a chance you might miss it. you might not even be with a unit that gets deployed or nothing may even happen..

Why didnt they use revolver rifles in the civil war, they had revolver guns for officers.
I'm pretty sure it did serve in civil war. Other than that it suffered major issues, the gun powder would leak a lot in field conditions from the paper and hotgas also leaked. And also it ignited all the rounds at the same time when you fire one shot by accident. It had a lot of issues. Read more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt%27s_New_Model_Revolving_rifle
>>33632330
because chain fire and no more arm
>>33632330
revolver (handgun-type) has all limbs BEHIND the cylinder. Revolver (long gun-type) has one in front of cylinder.
Add the fact that all your chambers still have to be loaded with loose powder and by hand, instead of nice, safe, sealed cartridges, and you have a recipe for having your hand blown off.
Where will you be /k/ when the best Koreans btfo bloated capitalist airforce with superior training, tactics, and people?
*blocks your path*
>>33632238
BUHAHAHAHAHA
we can kill every north korean plane with only one f35
Hey /k/
i got this gun for $60 at 7-11 from a really cool dude. is it a good one?? Thanks
>>33632119
Cool story bro
>>33632119
Another pic
you shouldn't buy something from a guy who just robbed the store
Is this the first recorded combat use of the MOAB? What do you think went through their heads when they saw the explosion from the distance?
>>33631883
"Hey Cap, this is legal, right? Like, we didn't just trip some satellite and trigger WW3, did we?
"Cause that would suck."
"oh no!"
>>33631883
>Allah Akbar!
About a million times
Are bullpups the rifles of the future? I've heard many times that in comparison to normal rifles they're poorly balanced, less reliable, harder to load, harder to clear jams from, and less accurate. How much of this is true, and can the issues be fixed?
>>33631799
>Poorly balanced
They're generally better balanced
>less reliable
Not anymore than any modern rifle that isn't garbage
>harder to load
Most people are used to the conventional layout, anyone familiar or trained with bullpups will have no issue
>harder to clear jams
not really
>less accurate
Completely the opposite
>>33631824
>>harder to clear jams
>not really
Depends on what design you're talking about. FS2000 or RFB, you're fucked.
>>less accurate
>Completely the opposite
Most bullpups are 3MOA, MAAAYBE 2MOA at best. A basic bitch AR can be 1MOA all day long.
t. bullpup enthusiast
>>33631799
you forgot they have really creepy triggers, They are a failed experiment. Which is why France is going back to convential rifle layout
Does this count as a vertical or angled foregrip for the sake of putting on a pistol?
>>33631615
ask the ATF, send them a letter like everyone did about the arm braces.
Looks pretty angled to me, chief.
VFG on pistols aren't illegal anyway.

>>33631615
Is this a good gun?
Yes, but there are better ones.
>>33631585
Yes, but that one is ugly.
>>33631585
The question "is X a good gun" will always be dependant on the intended use.
For duty/home defence, yes. I CC one and it is a bit of a chore. I will get a 92 compact at some point, but it is still a thick pistol.

Let's get a /k/ WebM thread going, boys
come on guys get the fuck in here
are there any aesthetic polymer pistols out there or is ingenuity and craftmenship dead and buried?
>>33631356
>>33631362
Beat me to it.
>>33631362
Came here to post this.
as several of you will probably recognize, this is the Tanto knife from BC4. I personally love the way it looks, and i was wondering what knife is most similar to this one in real life.
also, knife general thread
>>33631117
Just google "shitty tactical knife" they're a diamond dozen.
>>33631138
define what is and what is not a good tactical knife
>>33631150
The kind that doesn't have "tactical" in the name.
PIG AMERICANS, HOW CAN YOU HOPE TO DEFEND AGAINST OUR SUPERIOR PARATROOPERS?
>>33631021
People who have not mastered the advanced technology inherent in the shift button should probably not be entrusted with parachutes.
Or perhaps I misunderstood and these guys are actually on a suicide mission.
>>33631021
Is that... Is that a fucking bi-plane? I mean I guess it's training and saving resources, but still.
>>33631163
they use these in combat to.
