A .22 is basically as deadly as a BB gun
>>33647633
what do you mean by .22? .223/5.56 NATO or .22LR or .22 magnum? because they're all the same caliber
>>33647633
A BB gun can kill with the right shot placement
>>33647774
And all can kill
Tell me about sikhs /k/

Do you want to be the power bottom to some hairy Bengali man or something? Why do you keep making these circlejerk threads? Go to /int/
Apparently there's some cool ones out there. Idk.
What does /k/ think about pistols in 40mm? Particularly the Smith and Wesson M&P 40.
Nothing beats Glock & Wesson
>>33647549
I picked up a g22 the other day because the 40 models are cheap as hell. Stuck an alpha wolf threaded 9mm conversion barrel in it and now I have two guns in one.
I think the m&ps can just have a normal s &w barrel dropped in to change from 40/357/9mm. Do more research though.
Otherwise 40 is fine and plenty cheap these days.
>>33647549
>Doesn't have the capacity of a 9mm.
>Doesn't have the "stahpin powa" of the 45acp.
I don't see the point.
I would like to know a couple of things:
What are their military strategies? Do they follow WW2 Stalinist war tactics still?
What is their equipment?
Do they fund any armies or organizations (terrorist)?
Are they powerful enough to conquer anyone?
>>33647447
They could inflict mass casualties on South Korea if they tried. They have massive amounts of long-range artillery on the border and if a war was declared they could blast the shit out of Seoul and probably kill like 30,000 in a few minutes.
>>33647525
This is true, however they'll get gang banged when all of NATO comes in to stop them, assuming China doesn't back them up of course
>>33647525
Debunked numerous times. Lurk more.
>What is their equipment?
Shitty 60s vintage, getting shittier every day, they came out with an MLRS a few years ago and it was literally their first domestically produced weapon system in decades.
>Do they fund any armies or organizations (terrorist)?
Organized crime, counterfeiting, governments that hate the USA and meth
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Korea%27s_illicit_activities
>Are they powerful enough to conquer anyone?
No, only die in the even of war.
>tfw drafted to fight the slant-eyes
How many of 'me are you gonna get, anon?
>>33647369
What?
How many of you are there?
>>33647369
So do you have dyslexia or schizophrenia?
Can /k/ recommended a holster for my pistol?
shove it up your peehole

Why does /k/ hate the Springfield XD?
>>33646762
Because they are all operators, and we are not.
>>33646762
If I want a diseased whore, I'd pay for a Glock.
>>33646762
Because it was better when it was the HS2000 and sold for $200.
What is the difference between a missile and a rocket?
Missiles are guided, rockets are not.
A missile is guided faggot.
Which of these guns is better for CC? I'm split 50/50 on it and need some opinions from people who own them.
Not a big fan of the shield after shooting it, so that pretty much leaves these two right? Or are there other contenders I should look into?
How are you going to be carrying it?
Why not a G26 if you're going with the glock? Would the minimal increase in size be that unacceptable?
Of course, there's the Shield. LC9 and variants, etc etc.
My vote is for the Boberg XR9-L. Don't know if Bond will be making an -L version when they finally get around to selling theirs, though.
Personally, I would take the Shield in 9mm as the mags are flawless & the ergos are amazing. It's a much softer shooting gun that any other 9mm single stack. The Glock 43 is fucking awful to shoot
I'd take the XD over the Glock for a lot of reasons. WAY better ergos, more comfortable to shoot, stainless melanite coated barrel beats Glock's tenifer coating, more accessible controls, XDS has a solid steel sight, Glock's is plastic & fragile
If it HAS to be a single stack 9mm semi-auto I'd also look at Walther's PPQ. The trigger is fucking amazing, ergo's are outstanding & you'll need to mortgage your house to buy mags.
If you want a highly concealable CCW that you'll carry all the time I highly encourage an S&W 640M&P or Ruger LCR in .357. Here's why:
I carry an M&P9C for my EDC,, 2 spare mags, Olight & small 4" folding tac knife. Here's the problem. Even the compact is fucking heavy. If I want to take the dog out at night, I have to put on my holster, which means I have to put on my belt, which means I have to put on pants & it's a pain in the ass. With a wheel gun, if I'm just running down to the corner store or walking the dog I can throw it in a pocket holster with a speed strip & walk out the door. Drawstring gym shorts or sweats? Not a problem. It's lighter weight than the single stacks especially the S&W & even if it prints it doesn't look anything like a gun. Pocket carry is SO FUCKING CONVENIENT & I don't *look* armed.
The other significant advantage, especially in my neighborhood, is I can shoot someone off of me. You can't do that with a semi-auto except the Beretta Nano & no, just fucking no to that.
For all-day, every day I still prefer the double stack M&P9c. It shoots incredibly soft even with +P+ loads. It's the mildest shooting 9mm semi I've ever shot, caveman reliable, accurate as hell & given that my hands have taken a beating over the years I appreciate that.
Also, don't do the fucking Boberg.

Came here to say almost exactly this.

Absokutly disgusting, Im calling my congresswymn right now, hazmat fees and lead smelting regulations have driven ammunition prices too far up.
I have never seen a camo test on this M89 oakleaf.
Does anyone have any pics of it in the woods or something?
>>33646355
no, but I have that jacket
it's pretty cozy, LOVE the four square pockets on the front and the liner that comes out without an engineering degree, even if it is a little tedious
plus it doesn't look totally autistic so you can get away with wearing it in public so long as the rest of what you're wearing is normal. if anyone gives you crap, just tell them what you paid for it and feel how heavy it is, they'll shut up quick.
>>33646402

>>33646356
>>33646416
neat!
223/556 is the perfect example of having the worst of both worlds. It's too much more expensive than 22 LR to be a viable plinking cartridge, yet too small to be a viable hunting cartridge. It's a hermaphrodite.
>but the military uses it
So? The military made the decision to adopt it for reasons which do not apply to civilians: the need to carry large numbers of rounds and the need for control under fully automatic fire.
>>33646108
>It's too much more expensive
How fucking poor are you?
>It's too much more expensive than 22 LR to be a viable plinking cartridge
Are you fucking kidding me? Its like 20 c a round, less in bulk
>too small to be a viable hunting cartridge
Then dont use it for hunting rhinos you fucking moron, its a varmint cartridge.
>>33646140
>doesn't understand opportunity cost
It's not a matter of being poor. Suppose I have a need for x number of rounds for plinking. By using 22 LR instead of 223, I can save money and divert that money into other things, like better optics or pussy.
How does buying guns online work? New to it.
They send it to an FFL (local dealer?) and they take a cut? How much is it usually?
>>33646005
They don't take a cut. You pay them a flat fee. $30 is average, $20 is a good deal.
>order gun
>call up a LGS and explain that you want an FFL transfer
>they'll give you their info for the seller
>provide said info to the seller, pay shipping if applicable
>wait
>LGS calls you when the gun arrives
>go there in person and fill out the background check form like any gun purchase
>pay your $20-35 fee and be on your way
>>33646005
My experience (VA)
-Buy gun
-Give seller FFL info (copy of their license etc)
-wait warmly for gat to get to store
-go and do background check
-pay fee for FFL transfer
-????
-get gat
Talk to your local dealer first and go through the process with them, not everyone operates the same way.
The guy you're buying from will want to get the info from your FFL, and usually your FFL will want give the information to the seller directly. The seller will ship the gun to your FFL, and then you do the paperwork and background check with the FFL.
They usually charge a flat fee for doing this, which varies anywhere from $15-75. You may have to pay tax depending on your state.
Your FFL may also charge you an additional fee if its a gun they have in stock.
