Hi there /k/retins, /out/ here. Quick question, what do you guys think it's the best tool for EDC, a multitool, a small (less than 4in) fixed knife or a modern tactical folder? I'm asking because I want to move from the usual SAK.

Hmm,cold steel might be pretty good for you.I would suggest a cs voyager,or maybe a fixed mini tac.I edc a rawles voyager,it makes a very good utility knife and a very good self defense option, If you're aiming to have a razor sharp knife,get a sebenza or something,those are little folders that have a blade geometry to cut.Voyagers are thicc af,so idk if thats your best option for something hair whittling sharp.

What do you usually do in your daily life. That's it.
I have my Leatherman. I work at the sawmill, and I sometimes have to pull a splinter from my skin with the pliers.
My buddy has SAK Work Champ. It has small stainless pliers that are even better for this task.
If I go outdoors, camping or hunting, I have a folding saw and a puukko-style knife. I also have my Leatherman because of modern camping technology I use.

Are you a handy guy? Not messing with you but Genuinely interested. Because if you are, all you need to do to figure out your EDC is just to do more thinking about it.

Because I don't live on Okinawa I'm not really worried. I know the 9mm p320 can't convert to .45 ACP, but can a stock p320 .45 ACP downgrade to 9mm without any issues?
I get buying a new upper and pistol grip might be in order, but will the trigger mechanism of the .45 version work with the 9mm frame?
