>gun and knives honed as weapons for thousands of years
>fist honed as weapon for tens of thousands of years
Why aren't you using the objectively most perfect weapon?
>>33742826
I did. Turns out I hated getting hit in the head more than I enjoyed hitting others.
Also, I got old.
>>33742826
>fist honed as weapon for tens of thousands of years
You have a 10,000 year-old fist?
>>33742894
You have a thousand year old gun?
Is there any /k/ommandos here that were infantry in the Army?
I'm studying in college right now, and I'm thinking of going as infantry.
I know it's annoying for a civilian to ask this but I'm genuinely curious about what the infantry life is like.
>What do you guys do when you're not deployed?
>What's the daily life like when you're back in the homeland and living in base?
>What's the daily life like when you're deployed?
>Do you guys get any days off?
>Do you enjoy it?
>Do you guys share dorms or you get one for yourself?
>How often do you stay outside of the FOB for a mission?
>What are most missions like? Do you hike it a lot?
>Would you recommend it?
I feel like I need to do something like Infantry so I don't feel like I didn't do anything useful during my enlistment.
>>33742555
>What do you guys do when you're not deployed?
there is a set training schedule. Trips to the field weapons quals, etc
>What's the daily life like when you're back in the homeland and living in base?
Can be pretty chill as Infantry. If you are not in the field all 3 day Federal holidays are 4 day weekends. Around Christmas you go to a half day work schedule if you didn't take leave.
>What's the daily life like when you're deployed?
War is 99% boredom and 1% terror.
>blah blah blah
>Do you guys share dorms or you get one for yourself?
Depends on how old your barracks are. most places I shared a room with one other person, sometimes our room had to share a bathroom with the next room, sometimes not.
>Would you recommend it?
here's what I can tell you, you join the Army for one of two reasons 1) Muh Technical training! or 2) adventure
You want adventure join 11B not 11X, with airborne option at a min.
After you are in, you need to decide, one and done, or career. do you enlistment and gtfo or be a lifer. There is no in between.
I did two tours Iraq 11B, I earned my CIB. It taught me who I am, and gave me a great disdain for people who half step it and don't care about standards.
>>33742793
>join 11b, not 11x
Ask me how I know you weren't in.
>>33742793
I see, the thing is I feel like I wanna do something more for my country ( I am a mexican immigrant after all) and I want to do something that I can be proud of because I know I put my life on the line for it. Thank you though anon, I'll screenshot this and keep it in mind for the rest of my college years. Then I'll make the decision. Owe you one bro.
One last question though, and it's a bit personal. I have my uncle who never liked to talk about his time in Afghanistan and became bitter when he came back and got his DD214. Would I end up as bitter as him? Do infantrymen come back bitter and never change?
Anybody else feel free to put your input, I would love to get as much info as possible.
Alright, been a little while since we have done this.
Roll, and your ending three numerals are your U-boat.
Post the sub's accomplishments and final fate here.
Last time I did this thread, I kept getting shit boats. Here's hoping for better luck this time.

So far, shitty start.
>>33742411
Rolling.
How can range owners seriously do this?
>>33742374
It reduces the likelihood of spergs suiciding on the line with a rented gun.
>bring shoot buddy
>shoot range
>shoot buddy
>shoot self
Checkmate

Get on Tinder and find someone to go with you, no strings attached.
Shouldn't they just make one best design?
>>33742362
So you can have a nightstand gun, a truck gun, a carry gun, and a piece for your girlfriend/pet trap.
>>33742362
Shouldn't you just shut the fuck up?
>>33742377
Couldn't they just make one design that does all this?
>He died without killing a single person, how pathetic
Have you come to terms with the fact that you will never kill someone in combat, a self-defense, or a purely offensive situation?
Have you come to terms with the fact that you, a male, will die without having a single kill under your name?
>>33742177
this is how i feel in PUBG when i am fully kitted out and still die w/o killing anyone :(
>>33742177
>thinking that it's a bad thing to go your whole life with 0 confirmed kills
Sure everyone fantasizes about mowing down baddies in the name of God and country, but truth be told if I never take a life without due cause, it is a good life.

Sauce on the webm plz

If not, any suggestions?
>>33742137

>any suggestions?
Yes. Dad's has lasted for forty years and done everything from remove splinters to dress deer.
>>33742137
Get the Spartan Knives version. Better quality and it's got less obnoxious writing on it.
>>33742137
For what purpose do you need a new knife?
Redpill me on the FNS-9.

Can you loot the dead body just like in video games and use the gun?
>>33741824
A good thread died for this.
>>33741824
Yes but you can only carry 1 primary weapon at a time so will have to drop one, the armorer will love you for bring back rare weapons for him to finger fuck.
>>33741824
>just like in video games
Who here has gone to an annual NRA exhibit? I live close to Atlanta and I wouldn't mind going. Do you have to pay just to go around the floor and look at the guns and all?
> anything NRA
Ever notice how they don't do Jack shit for our freedom to own firearms? They may be pro 2nd, but they don't like what we (/k/) want, which is full auto and imports so fuck them.
>>33741840
That's great and all but they have a huge expo coming up in Atlanta and it's practically e3 for guns
>>33741877
So it's a crowded autistic convention with companies that think they represent the majority of enthusiasts but only care about money?
Man, the comparison is already lining up.
Alright, gearcheck bro

Good evening gents,
I don't know if this is for /r/ so i apologize for being a newfag to this board.
What style of throwing spike is this called? My guess was a "scissor" style in google but that didn't help and reverse image search didn't turn up anything good.
I was wondering if anyone could help me find an online seller that ships to Canda.
Thank you for your time.
>>33741550
Looks like a shitty tacticooled karambit.
>>33741550
Those are actually surgeon's surgical tools

If you flipped this picture horizontally you could probably post it on /d/
Why do operators always rip off the vehical doors?
>>33741460
ever try getting into a game in PLAYERUNKNOW'S BATTLEGROUNDS or H1Z1? You have to try like several times b4 you get into the vehicle. fucking infuriating
Easier to get in/get out
It won't stop small arms fire anyway (unless you reinforce it, which adds a ton of weight.)
minimal protection, so removing them provides easier entry and exit to the vehicle.
