I don't get it. Why do people buy slow moving rounds? What is the point? Its so stupid when you could just by higher velocity ammo and actually hit your target.

Slow moving compared to?
Walking speed?
Happy ANZAC Day, lest we forget.

Battle-ready French cavalry showing their standard, 1914. Note the heavy steel breastplate and M1872/74 "Minerva" helmet. The cavalry pictured are remarkably similar to those fielded by Napoleon, differing mostly in type of firearm (single-shot black powder vs. repeating smokeless carbines). The cavalry did, in fact, retain their swords.

which is better m16 or ak47
on one hand, m16 is lighter and faster, but not as reliable as ak where the ak dosent do good at long range?
AK47 is more deadly, M16 use a small round for hunting like rapids.

Current navy seal here
I can help you out, what is it you want to know?
>>33761476
Put a red dot on the ak and you can use it at longer ranges.
I would reccomend a long barrel attachment to further amp up the stopping power.
Also camo paint will help you stay less than visible

So I've been been looking at the Arsenal SLR-107R. I just want to know if it has the same functionality as the AK-107, not the full auto obviously. Been eyeing it, don't know if it's worth the 900 bucks?
>>33760926
it's worth 850, it can be found for 850
buy it for 850
faggot
also yes it's a good gun
>>33760958
thanks fag
Should I buy this or a WASR? I only ask because I've heard bad things about Arsenal's finish, otherwise I'd just get this.
Why is the tigerstripe so aesthetic?

Why doesn't the US military adopt a summer/desert uniform a la the Europeans in North Africa with their shorts and short-sleeves
>>33759977
Because it's stupid and so are you.
>wanting to lie down on hot sand with bare skin
>bare skin + glass/hot metal on the ground
>>33759977
Because most US Military contracts are won through cronyism, not objective benefit vs cost analysis, at least until a period of significant warfare breaks out.
At least they're not short shorts like in Rhodesia, those were ultra gay nigga.
What gas mask is that, /k/?
Also, general gas mask thread.

Losing a carrier would be pretty fucking bad, but keep in mind that there's 10 in service, with at least two more on the way

Why is there something fascinating about trainer aircraft being pressed into combat roles?
Am I alone in this?
Maybe it's more of an eastern bloc thing?
>>33758585
Nah. US did it with the T-28 in vietnam.
>>33758585
Not really, a lot of western nations has done it too
how do i sign up for the super solider program??

Go back to being 5 years old and get kidnapped by space spooks.
>>33758490
You gotta get kidnapped as a little boy though there's a 50/50 chance that you'll either get kidnapped by the military to become a super soldier or get kidnapped and raped by a pedo
>>33758490
>how do i sign up for the super solider program??
fall asleep and hope you dream about it
I don't care what the haters have to say, it's beautiful.
I also got bored and made this. It didn't help much.

RAISE THE RED FLAG
THIS IS THE OVERLORD TANK
http://chinapower.csis.org/china-aircraft-carrier-type-001a/
Key points:
Reduced island and more deck space
Eight more J-15s (Liaoning has 24)
More hangar and storage
Better crew comfort
Newest electronics
Strongk or not, China has really bad aesthetic taste.
http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/us-f-35-jets-land-in-estonia-for-exercises-in-putins-backyard/article/2621178
The rumours were true and so now there's F-35s 200km / 120mi from Russia's border. The jets are wearing luneberg lenses, so their RCS is being masked / artificially inflated. It's also only 2 jets (out of the 8 deployed to Europe; the other 6 are flying in the UK).
Word is that Romania is due for a visit as well, so we might see this or another pair of F-35s visit a bunch of countries around Eastern Europe; I'm betting that Belgium and Finland in particular will get visited, as both are looking to replace their F-16s / F/A-18s and are considering F-35s (Belgium released an RFP document that practically says they just want F-35s; Boeing has even already claimed that it's unfair and isn't even competing - Finland will either go with F-35s or Gripen E/Fs).
>F-35s
Why are we downgrading NATO?
Thanks for RCS signatures, Donald Jonovich.

They should fly some to Ukraine, just to piss off the vatniks. Plus if they do it in August I might get a chance to see them.
