What is the most A E S T H E T I C gas mask and why is it the M15?
>>33802216
I think you meant the GP5
>>33802674
The M15 is the most aesthetic mask there is
>>33802216
nope try again
I'm shipping off the marine boot camp on monday and I don't know what to expect. Is it hard? Will I make it through
I'm scared shitless
>>33802177
you'll wash out. you are not up to task of being in a peace time military.
bwahahahahahahah
>>33802177
The fuck are you scared of?
>>33802219
being yelled at, made to do shit I don't want to do, waking up way too early
I ended up in a discussion with a coworker on the yay or nay on gun rights and he claimed that you are X% (can't remember exact percentage he said but it sounded way too high) more likely to be the victim of a violent crime if you have a gun in your house compared to if you don't have one.
Anyone got some unbiased/independently fact-checked statistics on that subject? I'd love to throw a bunch of statistics in his face but i don't want him to be able to toss out the "cherrypicked facts/biased statistics" card and make me look like a right fool.
Other than that, pro-gun stuff thread i guess
>>33802017
Just give him some stats and if he gives you the "muh cherrypicked, muh bias" shut just tell him the truth: "ayy lmao it's better than what you have which is FUCKING NOTHING"
>>33802017
I'd start with getting the source for his statistics.
$20 says that it's including suicide as as "gun violence," meaning that all his statistics say is that if someone has access to a gun and wants to commit suicide, they're not going to fuck around with an oven or something.
>>33802042
He spouted some shit about having a gun making a person "act like they're invincible instead of defusing the situation". Those were his actual words.
But yeah i'm guessing that statistic included all gun-related violence, suicide included
Does it really gum up your gun or is this just fuddlore?
Wolf is great, way better than tula.
>>33801856
Does what what what? Are you talking about how brass expands more than steel? I think you're talking about how brass expands more than steel.
>>33801889
Oops, that being said if youre shooting from an ak or sks they're more than capable of extracting.
>this thread
>'does this ammo a company make not work with guns that shoot the ammo?'
Are you an idiot.
Why don't we use equipment like the m65 atomic cannon anymore? Was it just not viable as an artillery piece? Or might we have some more like it but under wraps?
Someone drop some knowledge on me
>bad range
>nuclear shells developed for their normal artillery
>a little bit large
>missiles were better anyway
don't know why pic related wasn't used though
Russians dropped last week that they are developing nuclear tank shells on TASS or Topwar or whichever. They don't have a nuclear firebrake requiring a certain level of escalation to use.
Fun fact: Homicide deaths in South America and Mexico outnumber all war related deaths in Muslim countries.
Is South America the true /k/ombat//k/iller paradise /k/ has been searching for?

Venezuela is currently at the top of the heap for most dangerous countries on Earth.
So we all know Sig is going to begin fufilling DoD orders for the P320 soon... but honestly why? It seems to me like a massive waste of money.
Hear me out, besides MPs and officers, no one actually carries a handgun in the army. Any grunt would prefer more ammo for their rifle, right? The M9s may be beat up, but there have to be enough fieldable ones in the armories for the MPs. And for officers? Make it like back in the blue army era with swords- where they would purchaee a sword to go with their uniform.
That money could instead go towards funding planned parenthood or something.
>That money could instead go towards funding planned parenthood or something.
Way to turn your own thread into a political shitstorm
>>33800829
Im H8 and I only carry a pistol when doing recovery missions. My rifle stays in the cab.
>>33800852
Obviously retarded thread, but How do you feel about using the sig in the future?
Thoughts on this weapon system?

Should we legalize private use of nuclear weapons, dirty bombs, chemicals, EMPs, etc?
asking for Jerry Seinfeld.
>>33800685
SHALL
NOT
>>33800685
Tell Jerry that yes everything should be legal, but we should start taxing people when it hits heavy explosive status and higher (stuff like Semtex and above).
What's stopping badass cartel guys from robbing your guns and your stupid truck when "k commandos" go shooting out in the Mojave?
>>33800510
only a libqueer would leave his guns in the truck when going shooting
nice try, redditor.
>robbing people with guns
because that always go real well in gunstores and the like right
>>33800510
a functional non corrupt police system, which i understand is an alien concept to beaners
Where were you when HK decided to defeat Glock?
>>33799996
I was a brain in a jar, because this is an alternate timeline where glock doesn't exist.
>>33800004
Too bad, you're going to miss the death of Glock in my timeline.
Don't they already have the VP9? Or are they going after a single look to do all the calibers and sizes like glock
Why aren't helicopters equipped with anti-missile countermeasures?
>>33799986
Many are.
>>33799986
You're never going to see a manpad coming so you won't know when to fire your flares.
>>33799986
>slavshit chopper built in 1961 and sold to *insert middle eastern country here* in 1978 doesn't have countermeasures
hmmmmm
How common was it for commanding officers to roll into theatre with the guys they trained? Or was Sobel an exception to the rule by pulling the short stick?
>>33799803
that was not a very impressive drill sergeant
>>33799803
>How common was it for commanding officers to roll into theatre with the guys they trained?
you are mistaking basic training with a unit training before deployment. Easy company was a Infantry company in a Infantry battalion training for war. So yes, Sobel was supposed to lead their training in the states and then lead them into combat. Thankfully the chain of command realized he needed to be removed.
>>33801334
He was sent to airborne school as a fulltime DI, then airborne school kicked him out to be a quarter master?
Anyone else fuc/k/ing invisible?
I have a small collection of leaf suits and ghillies, I like to sit in the bushes outside my house and watch my neighbors.
They'll never know...

Hey /k/ I'm looking for a new pump-action range toy,and I can't decide between the Norinco 1897 and a Mossberg 590A1,they both cost about the same where I live.
The only difference I can see so far is that the Norinco won't be able to deal with steel-shot,so I can't go hunting ducks with it
>>33799456
M O S S B E R G
>>33799456
I don't know why a Norinco wouldn't be able to take steel shot but 97s are fucking awesome and if you don't get one you're a fag
>>33799565
The Material of the Barrel isnt tested with steel, so you are only allowed to use lead
