Soon? They're already a novelty. Special purpose MAYBE if your pockets are big enough.
Waiting for the form 4 on a uzi bolt which is allowed to be cut down to go in a micro
Have SPP
Need CZ-100 (there's a fucking FAMAS on gunbroker, but no cz-100)
Need Jericho 941 compact, steel frame
Need Mateba 2006M
Need Sig 556
But the real question is, how best to replicate the CZN-M22?
Should I dress up my AR57? SBR a PS90 and stick a brass catcher in the back? Get someone to build a stock for an AUG, FS2000, or, heaven forbid, a Jagar AP85. The AR57 or AUG would allow select fire which would be nice.
Have an AUG customized or buy a famas and call it good. (you seem to have the money for one)
>>34106411
So you have pretty much nothing. I would start on the real guns before worrying about the sci-fi ones.

Planning on picking up a beat up S&W Model 36 and breathing some life back into it. If nothing else it'll serve as a good learning experience.
They make a rust blue finish in a bottle. Never used it but it might be easier than actually letting it rust.
>>34106336
Thats a touch up solution, it looks like ass if you do the whole gun in it, and it also smells like cat piss.
I've done rust bluing before, its a bit of work, but if you have a spare pot or two to do it in (go look at goodwill), and some wire coat hangers, its fun for the first couple coats, then it gets kinda old desu. Iirc theres a site online you can get higher quality/different shade solutions, I just made my own using table salt and h2o2 iirc, could be wrong about the mix, its been a couple years.

hot bluing is better
Assuming money is not an issue, what is aesthetically the closest you can legally get to an AK in Canada? I think the Valmet M78 takes the cake.
>obtain $1M US
>get citizenship and a pre-86 AKM
>>34106239
>is an AK variant the closest thing you can get to an AK in Canada
>>34106356
Sorry dearie, next time I'll use words that are a little less offensive to your palate.
Hello /k/, poorfag here. I've recently been interested in getting an AK variant as my primary SHTF weapon. I already have an AR but it seems those would be less practical in that situation. Yes, ammo would be more common, but the amount maintenance and cleaning makes it seem not worth it. I could be wrong, as I'm fairly new to guns, but I've heard about a lot of reliability issues with AR's.
Anyways, so that leads to my question.
What is the best and most well made AK variant out there, that is also affordable?
> $600 to $800 range
>>34106142
Get a wasr or one of those psa gen 2 aks

Anybody read "On killing"? Is the info good?
What books are you reading now? Last one you finished?
reading DUNE, just finished all quiet on the western front and Fireforce
>>34105719
My 11th grade teacher was so obsessed with dune that it was on our required summer reading list and almost every test we took had a dune question on it.

>Fireforce
How was that?
General tank general discussion thread:
ITT:
Post your favourite tank(s) Talk about tanks.
Also thoughts on pic related
The Landkreuzer p.1000 ratte seems like a very needy tank due to it's crew of 41 men. Also it seems like an inefficient tank, due to the cost of maintainance and not knowing how well it would perform on the battlefield, and taking in consideration how long would it take to get it up and running due to it's size. It's size makes me wonder if it could even handle the battlefields due to it's weight.
>>34105106
Do you think modern composites would make this any more feasable? Not that I'm implying it would be feasable, but would it help offset the weight?
>>34105106
Seems like a waste of resources, it's a giant target for aircraft, it's heavy and slow, so it's inefficient for the blitzkrieg strategy. The only idea would be that its basically a portable pillbox/artillery battery, but it seems more cost-effective to just build actual pillboxes and dedicated artillery pieces.
