Slanted armor is better than straight because shell travels through more armor.
Why not just arrange all the armor completely slanted so it has to go through the maximum amount of armor?
Dude just go back to school or something.
why not just slant the entire tank?

This actually made me laugh. Thanks you faggot ass retard.
Steam forum users and /v/ claims that in reality, no one uses iron sights or aims down their sights and they are actually an outdated meme, only made popular again by call of duty
Apparently, the military has a special way of aiming from their hips and that iron sights are actually useless
Is that true?
>>34141300
What kind of question even is this? Are you asking from /v/ or are you just memeing?
>IS _____________ A MEME?
^ Remember when this snowclone was a meme?
What is notch there for?

I don't know of any other gun with the deeper cut there like that.
Are snap caps worth an investment for at home training or are they just overprices junk?
What are good ones? Bad ones? What's a fair price?
What other tools or guides do you use to git gud when you can't be on the range?
>>34140782
Depends on the gun. I only worry about snap caps for dry-firing revolvers with the firing pin on the hammer. If it's frame mounted or a semi-auto gun you don't need that shit.
>>34140782
i have a few, they're nice for practicing certain drills, good insurance that you won't damage the gun. Sneak them into magazines so you can tell when you're flinching.
>>34140782
They are good for range training to simulate malfunctions.
Anyone else here a fan of trench guns?
Not really.
What's the difference between a shotgun and a trench gun?
>>34140602
Trench gun generally includes a heatshield and bayonet lug. Generally refers to shotguns in that configuration used in WWI and WWII.
Prior to raiding an area that has 5~10 armed people,
would you start shooting at the exposed enemies from a distance taking at least one or two, but forcing the remaining enemies to dig in cover and ruin your element of surprise, making it harder for you to clear the inside?
or would you try to sneak in as close as possible, trying to exploit your element of surprise as much as possible then going shock and awe on their asses?
which one is more worth it?
Totally hypothetical by the way.
>>34140367
Shoot at them from far away with no intention of running up.
If I can kill one, then I have won the battle and leave.

I'll start us off with my new Webley Mark VI, dated 1919.
>>34140353
I hope that isn't factory .45acp anon. Webley ain't rated for that shit. 13K PSI max I think. You gotta handload some super lightweight loads to stay safe and not fuck up a historical relic.
>>34140353
Just got this Ishapore 2a1 Thursday afternoon.
>>34140425
This.
>>34140353
I load .452 diameter Hornady 230 (I think?) grain bullets over 5.5 grains of Autocomp for my Webley.
It shoots like a .22 target pistol.
I do need to figure out how to fix all the .45 so it actually fits instead of just cracking and having all the unborn things powder going everywhere though.
What are some cool rare or uncommon firearms that are kind of affordable? Under 1000 dollarydoos.

What do you think about the desert eagle? It's my dads birthday coming up and he has always wanted one, i live in california so i can only buy it in .44 but i can legally convert it to 50ae.
Whats your oppinion on them?

According to YouTube it's a reliable action and you can find them
Other options include discontinued unicorns like that gun from death wish 3
>>34140021
someone's trying to revive the automag but you'll probably still pay $3.50 per shot
>>34140057
That would be the Wildey Hunter model. Death Wish 3 literally kept the Wildey company in business for the last few years of its life. Wildey himself said the company got a spike in orders every time that movie was on cable.
Just took a picture of my new homemade beauty. Took me 2 days and $250 dollars. Could do better?

Do these still have a military purpose, or are they just there for Haiti-type humanitarian missions?
Unless you've somehow miraculously discovered how to make humans stop being hurt, yes they have a purpose.
>it's a pain in the ass to set up a hospital halfway around the world
>ships are the most efficient form of transportation
>it is logistically simpler to assemble the hospital on a ship and sail to a harbor than it is to break down a hospital into a million containers, ship it somewhere, and then reassemble it
It's a pretty efficient way of providing medical service to a given area on a fairly short notice.

-Advanced surgical needs that are not available on even carriers
-Raising goodwill around the world, thus making people hate us less
