Protip: you fucking can't.
>>34190228
Fuck it's over $9 at my walmart or i would be buying it. I bought 1 box to see if my new AR9 would cycle it and it chugged though it flawlessly.
>>34190316
It used to be priced likewise here, but they put it on rollback in all the Walmarts near me recently. I've been buying it up ever since. For some reason they never seem to have too much of it at once though.
>>34190228
I bought a shitload of that Tula 9mm. I think it was 7.67 though. Tula shoots fine in my gun so IDGAF>

>For decades, security response was limited to two types with vastly different (and risky) results: armed or unarmed. Now there is anINTERMEDIATE choice: a safer, smarter and stronger non-lethal defensive option that is changing the way security teams respond and prepare for incidents.
>Guardian 8 Corporation is the developer and manufacturer of the Pro V2, an Enhanced Non-Lethal (ENL) defense device designed for professional security officers. The Pro V2 is an intermediate solution that bridges the gap between unarmed and armed security, so it allows officers to protect themselves and others effectively without resorting to lethal force.

RRRREEEE
Don't complain this is what we want.
>Giving a bunch of noguns cops easy access to firearms in a country with pretty much no gun crime
It'll be like those pics of euro terror attacks when a bunch of female parking monitors that haven't touched a gun since police college end up on the streets trying to look intimidating while they chickenwing at passing prams and geriatrics, except every single day. I give it a week before some bogan kid with a brightly colored super-soaker ends up perforated.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's happening. It's good that the Police Commissioner wants to do it and that labour is actually on board for fucking once in their miserable lives.

its an adapter for a flare gun to shoot seven .22s simultaneously with one trigger pull... actually I tried that a few weeks ago but the whole thing didnt work that well and a guy mentioned they use large pistol primers to enlarge the power on the firing pin plate, so I did that as well...
a few things before the thread really starts: I built that at work in a machine shop and used tool grade steel and not aluminium or silver painted wood or cardboard (people seem to believe shit like that)
my boss was like "boy, why dont you just use a shotgun-adapter, you could shoot buckshot or birshot or even slugs, its much easier and probably more effective as multiple .22s anyway..." and I was like "FUCK YOU"

Marvin John Heemeyer was an Americanwelderand anautomobilemufflerrepair shop owner most known for his rampage with a modified bulldozer. Outraged over the outcome of a zoning dispute, he armored aKomatsuD355Abulldozerwith layers of steel and concrete and used it on June 4, 2004 to demolish the town hall, the former mayor's house, and other buildings inGranby, Colorado. The rampage ended when the bulldozer got stuck in the basement of a Gambles store he was in the process of destroying. Heemeyer then killed himself with a handgun.
The machine used in the incident was aKomatsuD355A bulldozer[9]fitted with makeshift armor plating covering the cabin, engineand parts of thetracks. In places this armor was over 1 foot (30cm) thick, consisting of 5000-psi Quikreteconcretemix sandwiched between sheets oftool steel(acquired from an automotive dealer in Denver), to make ad-hoccomposite armor. This made the machine impervious tosmall armsfire and resistant toexplosives: indeed three external explosions and more than 200 rounds ofammunitionfired at the bulldozer had no effect on it.[1]
For visibility the bulldozer was fitted with severalvideo cameraslinked to twomonitorsmounted on the vehicle's dashboard; the cameras were protected on the outside by 3-inch (76mm) shields of bullet-resistant plastic.[1]Onboard fans and an air conditioner were used to keep Heemeyer cool while driving, and compressed-air nozzles were fitted to blow dust away from the video cameras. He had made three gun-ports, fitted for a .50 caliber sniper rifle, a .308 semi-automatic, and a .22 long rifle, all fitted with a half-inch-thick (1.3 cm) steel plate. Heemeyer apparently had no intention of leaving the cabin once he entered it.[1]Authorities speculated he may have used a homemade crane – found in his garage – to lower the armor hull over the dozer and himself. "Once he tipped that lid shut, he knew he wasn't getting out", Daly said. Investigators searched the garage where they believe Heemeyer built the vehicle and found cement and armor steel.[1]
Only Heemeyer was killed in the event (by a self-inflicted gun shot) but afterwards the modified bulldozer came to be known as "Killdozer".
The city council ordained to approve the construction of a concrete factory in the lot across from Marvin's shop. In the process this blocked the only access road to the muffler shop. Marvin petitioned to stop the construction to no avail. Petitioned to construct a new access road, and even bought the heavy machinery to do so himself. Denied. The concrete factory went up in disregard to the ramifications on Marvin's business. To add insult to injury, the factory construction disconnected the muffler shop from the city sewage lines. An indifferent city government then chose to fine Marvin for this. His business and livelihood were in ruin.
Bump. Never heard of this. I live under a rock though..
For zero cost increase and fuel savings.
http://www.defensenews.com/articles/pratt-whitney-pitches-new-f-35-engine-upgrade
TLDR..
>10% increased thrust
>6% fuel efficiency
>complete drop in, in any F-35 model
>cost neutral (exact same cost as current F-135)
>no new components, just upgraded so maintaince does not increase.
>better cooling
This would put the F-135 damn near 50,000 lbf of thrust, which is fucking insane.
It would give the F-35 about 100 more nautical miles to play with.
The reason p&w is offering this is to compete with any GE ADVENT/ f-136 offering. It would give the same thrust as above, just less fuel efficiency... But with zero new maintaince and constant supply.
>>34186891
Also, I just realized that this would make the f-35 supercruise that much further, even though the F-35 was not designed to do so.
