I mean, for me it's true that Miku doesn't give me companionship and way to keep myself busy, she isn't my whole life. But it's not like she doesn't mean anything, she is in fact most important part of my life. Yeah, but you're missing the fun. There's a trend lately around professional video game 3D modellers to fully model female anatomy characters up to the nipples and genitalia, even when there is absolutely no chance of seeing either of these unless you rip the model and put it through 3D Maya or whatever tool they used. Why do they do that? Because they can. Because they can see the model working in the final game and they KNOW what is under the clothes. That is fun, and exciting, especially if it's a character not mean to be sexualised.

Not saying it's the case of Miku, but honestly, it is known that anime cartoonists keep private drawings for themselves (even the ones working on fucking Ika Musume), so I'd expect at least a couple of animators from Project DIVA and the Magical Mirai concerts to keep private "drafts" for themselves as well.

I've designed whole page along with widgets in KLWP and scripted some things using Tasker.
Your screen looks fine. Majority of people doesn't have a fuck and their phone looks like trash with their cat/dog/gf face slapped on background. Anything that looks clean is way better than boring screen from normal adult, bonus points for icon packs and nice looking widgets.
If you want to rice your phone I'd recommend you to visit /w/ and maybe /g/ homescreen threads. They are full of great looking screens and is easy to find some neat inspirations.
My screen is also my first try to rice, I just took some ideas from various screens I've seen, prepared some graphics in gimp, stole iXima color palette and put at all together.

A few days ago, there was an Interview in Famitsu with Wataru Sasaki (Crypton Future Media) and Makoto Osaki (SEGA games). This is the most relevant bits:

- Makoto Osaki and Wataru Sasaki first met to talk about the idea of implementing collaboration items in Virtua Fighter 5. But in january, after seeing the first Project DIVA on PSP and after trying some things with Virtua Fighter 5 engine, they realized they could make the Arcade version of Project DIVA
- the first prototype of Project DIVA Arcade was running on the Virtua Fighter 5 engine, but then it moved to a brand new engine made only for Project DIVA Arcade. This engine has evolved a lot over all these years, and the latest version is the one running on Playstation 4 (Future Tone DX)
- Project DIVA Future Tone for Playstation 4 in Japan sold more than expected, in fact it sold more than doubled, SEGA is very happy with the results
- the main features of Future Tone DX are the new modules, the new songs and the new extra features added in the PV shooting mode
- Ghost Rule is using the latest version of Future Tone engine, and you'll notice it after playing (new effects, new cameras, new expressions, ..)
- November release and not August release because they want the final product to be perfect, so they are using the extra time to check everything
- Makoto Osaki is feeling "I can finally take a breath" in sense of completeness after Future Tone DX is released
- that doesn't mean no more Project DIVA games for Makoto Osaki. In fact, a new version of Future Tone Arcade is planned, but it won't come out soon, and there are other projects in the works that will be announced when the time is right
- Makoto Osaki is also interested about VR and MR (Mixed Reality), but still have to come up with a concrete project

After PJD chief resignation, SEGA has unified Project DIVA and Arcade under the same management so I have the feeling they are converging both versions. The advancements they are doing now in the engine will be applicable on the new version of the Arcade in the future, that it is rumoured to have a PS4 like hardware, and likely, these will be put on new Project DIVA games as well, so no more separate engines, assets, etc.

How is SEGA planning to manage the new updates on console it is unknown. Before DX, I was confident that FT would be an universal platform for an unlimited number of song updates, just like SingStar. But DX feels like a "definitive" version and the Interview more or less confirms it so I'm not positive about more updates on Future Tone anymore.

Maybe they'll keep doing 30-ish songs new Project DIVA games every two years and put the Arcade port into a rest while the Arcade keeps updating exclusively for a few years before launching a new port, probably on a new console.

Oh, and about the controller: if you really want one, buy it at launch day, because the Project DIVA X ones really sold out fast. The controller alone is like $130, but it weights 2 Kg, so probably costs $50-$60 more to ship overseas. Save $200 for it.

Not really but I've been playing with a custom controller for 6 months now and I can't imagine playing this game without an horizontal layout anymore. The SEGA (Hori actually) one is the same but with buttons that are half the size. Aside the occasional finger cramps that will disappear with enough training I imagine it should be very similar.
