>>14323495 This desu. I can't imagine anyone who would stay sane going through that. I think Saya enabled it though. If it wasn't for her he probably would have killed himself, which would have been the best end for everyone involved.
>>14323504 I don't find it interesting but rather depressing. It shows that most of the fanbase is constituted with extremely self-centered people who'd give up all the wonders of society and culture just to fuck a monster.
>>14323504 As a personal opinion i love humanity. I love all the progress that we were able to make and the diversity of the opinions that different kind of people can produce together. As a personal opinion i fucking hate humanity. We became stagnant , unable to progress forward , corrupt , selfish and this extends to most of the human population. I wouldnt go as far as say that everyone is a fucking psycho or a lazy waste of genetic material but we've reached the final point of our evolution. If there was something with the ability to erase humanity and civilization without devasting the earth i would welcome it everyday.
>>14323514 > We became stagnant , unable to progress forward , corrupt , selfish and this extends to most of the human population
Says the lazy, selfish neet from the comfort of his bedroom.
Look man if you were Einstein or someone who changed entirely how modern day society functions, maybe your words would have the tiniest bit of value, but coming from some anonymous guy who's most likely as much of a waste of space as the people you complain about, it's just cringeworthy.
>>14323514 >We became stagnant , unable to progress forward , corrupt , selfish and this extends to most of the human population This is a totally arbitrary statement. Fuck you. You're telling we're stagnant and unable to progress and selfish while using the product of millions of hours of work from millions of people and scientists. I'll slap anyone who uses Internet while saying humans are dumb and can't advance because they obviously don't know the shit they're discussing
>>14323519 Too bad these technological breakthroughs allow edgy people to read stories about bad things that happened to 10 persons in the world and then proceed to shit on humanity without considering the other 7 billions But shitting on something makes you look smarter than praising it I guess
>>14323504 Shame doctor died in most endings. She could be great character for this kind of stories. Know how to handle lovecraftian horrors at least to point to avoid being corrupted or driven mad. And she was badass.
>>14323522 I feel that eventually when the shock to everyday people from world information becoming more readily available passes people will start to advance a great deal more morally and technologically, at least if we're being optimistic.
>>14323526 He wanted it to be repulsive, instead it had an opposite effect on a lot of people. Some even found the sex scenes great where they were meant to be horrific. I guess it goes to show how varied people can be.
>Uro: Thanks for letting it scare you so much. I wanted all the users to enjoy it that way. Yet, I got so many comments like "I could go for that," and "Saya-tan is so cute"... I was stunned by the broad-minded and profound nature of my users. I thought I was firing a bazooka at users who only embraced imaginary love, but just like Matsuda-san in Black Angels, (*12), they caught my bullet with their bare hands!
>>14323493 If you recall, his newfound meat vision made things unlikable. Even if he reminded himself constantly that all the monsters are fellow human beings, it stops mattering when all you have left for human contact is just hate and disgust. Besides, you're not supposed to treat meat vision as how he sees things objectively, it's by definition, a subjective experience for him. For him the world is disgusting.
>>14323705 About time. Now true "crossboarding" can finally happen. I've always said there'll be a feature that lets ops post one thread to multiple boards through a sort of shared server. Posts from each board will all appear in the same thread.
I find it funny that Gen is surprised with people sympathizing with the characters when the whole VN is seemingly setup to make the reader do so.
Neither Fuminori or Saya's actions are justifiable. Regardless of whether of Fuminori was shallow in his views, he was certainly selfish with his willingness to kill others and end the world in order to be with Saya. That being said, having meat vision sounds pretty shitty.
Saya also went along with and encouraged Fuminori the more the story progressed. The ending where she gives birth says something her gaining human traits (though I guess not sympathy) which lead her to be lonely. Of course you could just argue that it was instinct to help her species survive but then that also adds a layer of sympathy if she was just acting on instinct. So, is it really that unreasonable, conceited, or selfish for people to be rooting for or like them as characters?
