Hatsuru is not part of Grisaia series, its just work by same team. Setting and characters are entirely different (its fantasy world with Yuuji-like MC).
Also, there will be some kind of "18+ patch", although what exactly it will add and how its going to work is not disclosed.

Yes, there was another TDA01 translation before that was machine translated and shit, so the people who did Chronicles 01 retranslated the whole thing iirc. Chicken Divers is probably the best of the short stories in Chronicles 01 so don't skip them and just read TDA00. It's a shame only TDA01 is translated out of Chronicles 02 I liked the designs for Adoration.

Its not that simple.
Sure, they promised to add sex scenes in some way, but:
1. All-ages/18+ difference is not only sex. Grisaia had cannibalism censored out in its all-ages versions, along with some jokes and other stuff. I highly doubt that we are getting such content via patch: they will be writing for all-ages as target.
2. Dave's corner technically counts as "adding sex scenes" but its not something I want from my eroges. Sex scenes you need to access from separate menu, and which aren't even part of canon are pointless.
So its all about how exactly they are going to do it.

You could argue self censorship is still censorship but you can't really blame them for doing it if it's more profitable. The main advantage "All Ages" VNs have over adult ones is the Seiyuu, rather than having to pick ones who are willing to do H-Scenes. Look at Rewrite with EriKita and KanaHana.
