Welcome and take it easy!
I still don't understand why this crap doesn't get confined to /b/. How the fuck is this stuff belong to a blue board?
We should venture forth on a journey together, /jp/.
I heard Gensokyo is lovely this time of the year.
What kind of journey?
Can I go on a journey from the comforts of my computer chair?
What's Cirno thinking about
That looks about right.
Not thinking is the ideal, good job Cirno.
What Touhou would be okay with you wetting the bed constantly?
>>15397431
I once went camping, drank too much and pissed myself.
The memory still shames me enough to avoid going overnight anywhere. None of the touhou's would ever find out as a result. Excluding Satori, who's a shutin like myself.

Is there something you want to tell us, anon? It's okay. This is a safe place.
Don't use such a nice picture for such a shitty thread.

> What is kigurumi?
Kigurumi (着ぐるみ) is a kind of costuming where the player wears a full body skin suit (called hadatai) along with an anime mask. The Japanese word "kigurumi" refers to any kind of full-body costume, but in this thread we're specifically looking for anime masks combined with skin-toned bodysuits - properly known as "animegao" kigurumi.
> Where can I find kigurumi pictures/videos?
http://www.animegao.com/ combines many kigurumi blogs and sites into a single feed. On pixiv, the 着ぐるみ and 着ぐる絵 tags contain many relevant images. Many Japanese kigurumi players now use Twitter. http://pastebin.com/nYuh4aat contains a random assortment of links.
Kigurumi players often stream videos on http://www.ustream.tv. You can find them by searching for "kigurumi" or "着ぐるみ". http://www.mediafire.com/?xtqkc2yn75u54 and http://yellingtoilet.com/search/?q=kigurumi have many kigurumi fetish videos. Don't beg.
> How much does this cost?
A reasonable mask and bodysuit will cost roughly 1000-2000 USD depending on quality.
> Drama?
No. Kigurumi girls have to be cute and friendly, not just in appearance, but in heart as well!
That means there is no porn.
> Isn't it usually dudes who wear these?
Yes.

Ahh yes that's the look. They know their place.
Thanks for this pic op I feel reinvigorated.
I've found I can learn Japanese from reading, understand a whole set of vocabulary and break down the meaning, I learnt the kana, and feel I've made progression over the past few months with reading and writing, studying about two hours a day on a specific subject. Like numbers/dates, verbs/conjugation and so on.
Now when I listen to Japanese recordings, with dialogue I already know, It's like I don't understand anything that has been said. Even though I technically know the meaning of all the words, hearing it said out loud at natural speed can just lose me and my mind goes blank, so its like I haven't learnt anything.
Is there a good method to improve listening understanding? Should I just replay recordings over and over again until I make sense of it, or are there any techniques to help understand speech?
My approach now is instead of learning Japanese, just learning Genki, I'm trying to understand the whole course inside out before I move onto anything else, which makes the task of learning a new language a bit less overwhelming. But it hasn't helped me understand speech at all.
Ideally you'd find someone to practice speaking with.
Also, how long does it take for your brain to not have to search for and process words in a second language. Like, I sometimes test myself by saying '"how do you say 3,616' or 'I'm taking the bus to work today' and I almost have to slowly work it out whilst translating over. It's not automatic. It's annoying that my brain has this information but can't just produce it on the spot, as though I know it but I can't use it yet.

I have a friend in Japan, we met up a few months back and didn't really get to practice much because we were going to events and things. I just got to listen to her speak japanese to people. If she was cool with that It'd be nice to get to speak over skype.
I don't think I can learn the language just from books, need to bring another dimension in.
So the Lehmann Maupin gallery in NYC is showcasing some of Masakatsu Iwamoto's art from June 23- August 12 for those in the area and are interested in going.
http://www.lehmannmaupin.com/artists/mr/press/424
Also I was thinking would some of you anons would like to do a meet up to peruse said exhibit this Saturday July the 2nd?
I'll have my chauffeur swing by the mansion. I must ask that the spending limit be $500,000, as some of the /jp/'s habits are simply too rich for my blood.
I need that Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei screencap about terrible anime art being sold in NY for ridiculous prices
