Let me cut to the chase; I've been getting into Dragon Quest. I've mostly been playing spin-offs up until now, but I also recently played the Japanese 3DS release of Dragon Quest VII. Looking at how often games for the series actually get localized in the west, however, I decided it might be in my best interests going forward to just continue playing the games in Japanese on my hacked 3DS.
There's just one problem - I can't find Japanese versions of Dragon Quest I+II on either GBC or SNES that is already in a 3DS/N3DS VC format. Same with Dragon Quest III GBC/SNES.
Does /jp/ know where I might find any? Also Dragon Quest thread, I guess. It's close enough to a Japanese national symbol, so it should be on topic.

-The in-game sanma festival 2016 has commenced, and will last for about 2 weeks. By fishing for sanma in 1-1, 1-5, 1-6, 3-1 to 3-5, 6-1 and 6-5, resources, materials and a new flag furniture can be obtained from this mini-event. Sanma festival BGM has been implemented for these maps, and will also be available in the jukebox.
-Three limited-time sanma quests have been added: one rewarding a Type 3 Sonar and a furniture fairy, one rewarding either a daihatsu, a searchlight or a WG42, and one rewarding either a Type 96 150cm searchlight, last year's flag furniture, or this year's flag furniture.
-To commemorate the collaboration with Nakau, temporary sprites for Akagi, Akitsushima, Roma (all oyakodon), Akigumo (katsudon), Yuudachi Kai 2 (udon) and Mizuho (gyuudon) have been implemented.
-Several dozen new autumn seasonal lines have been implemented along with new and returning seasonal sprites and furniture, replacing summer seasonal lines, sprites and furniture. Fubuki, Asashimo (autumn festival happi coat sprites), Akizuki, Shiratsuyu, Yura, Naganami and Mutsu (yukata sprites) are the recipients of the new sprites.
-New sanma and taste of autumn seasonal lines have been implemented, overlapping with autumn seasonal lines, and along with new and returning sanma seasonal sprites, with Tama, Yuugumo, Shigure Kai 2, Taigei/Ryuuhou, Akitsu Maru, Zara and Fusou getting new sprites.
-Oktoberfest and Halloween seasonal sprites also make a return, with Roma's Halloween sprite receiving a fix.
-Kongou, Yamashiro and Amagi get shopping seasonal sprites, a new type of seasonal sprite.
-Up to 9 preset fleet templates can now be saved, up from 8.
-"That type" of aircraft and a new system will finally be introduced in autumn or later.
-The Autumn 2016 event will start in mid-November. An American CV is planned for implementation for the event. Ships from yet unimplemented navies are also planned to be implemented.
-Kinu's Kai 2 is planned for implementation early next month, before the event. The Kai 2 after hers will be for a CA.

People, I currently have a problem with Nico Nico Douga and downloading 1.5GB videos (or any video over 100MB).
Basically, nicofox is totally out of luck since it hasn't been updated for a while.
youtube-dl, don't even count on it (NND doesn't look like their priorities).
Now, my emergency solution was to use Video DownloadHelper. It did somewhat work till recently. Except that as of now, 2016-10-26, I can't seem to be able to download any of those videos with it. It always only reports the low-quality variant no matter what I try or how I refresh the page.

The reason I'm asking here is obvious: it looks like nobody on this planet seems to know the existence of Nico NIco Douga outside me and a few other addicts.
So, if anyone knows how to download these particular videos (tools, add-ons, type of connexion, etc.), please let me know.
It could also be because I only have access to fairly slow ADSL connections (below 8Mbps) right now.

Not sure if this will help you, but here goes. I use firefox. When I want to download a vid from nico, Ill go to the video page, right click and hit "Inspect Element". From there, I go to the network tab, click the "type" column header and then have to reload the page. Eventually, an item for the video will come up, sometimes it is a mp4/flv with the name of like "smile---" plus some other stuff behind it, from there you can right click that item to open it in a new tab, at which point the html5 player (I think) will open the video and you can then save video as by right clicking the play button.
More recently, the type will be "objectSubdoc" for a short period of time when loading the page before changing to a mp4/flv which has restricted access when you try to open it. You can still download these, but you must do so when the item is still a "objectSubdoc". and the process is a little more complex. I'm not sure why but I wasn't able to use firefox's default down loader because the file would become restricted before completing the download and the video would be incomplete. So I used the firefox addon "DownloadThemAll!" which downloads things faster by splitting the file into parts, its a pretty neat addon. Anyways, the process for grabbing the vid in this "objectSubdoc" case is: You open the link of the item, and hopefully you will be prompted to download the vid, use DownloadThemAll, and be sure to save the file type as a mp4/flv, which ever one the video is supposed to be. If the download prompt doesn't appear, go into the address bar and take out a string of text identical to "start=0&starti=0" and hit enter to load it, I'm not sure why but this would bring up the download prompt for me. then use DownloadThemAll and you got the video.
I'm shit at explaining stuff and I realize my method is probably more complex then it has to be, but it gives me piece of mind knowing that it works. Just ask for clarification if you want.

Thank you very much for your feedback. It indeed seems like there's some sort of ticket which restricts access after a random short period, and this makes things even trickier.
I actually followed your indication and used DownloadThemAll (after inspecting and finding the "objectSubdoc" object which latches the video) and it did the trick!! I'm really grateful. One bonus is that I had a constant high download speed (topped at 1.5MB/s).
Another thing I noticed. I only got served the high-resolution file when I was in 4G (tethered) and it would never trigger with an ADSL connection.
So now I know what to do in order to avoid countless failed download attempts for these high-resolution files.
