I'm curious, what's /jp/ favourite Stage 6 Boss in Touhou? and why? whether it's her theme, design, story behind the character or simply because the gameplay and her spell cards.
Mine is Yuyuko, she is one of my favourite characters of them all plus her theme is definitely in my top 5, it's really fun to play against and her final spell along with the music creates a great game finale. The runner-up of my list was Okuu.

Would anyone play this absolute trash if it weren't for the girls? After seeing it fucking everywhere for god knows how long I looked up the game. After getting past the filthy gaijin barrier that it has, I was treated to the worst stategy/rpg/simulation/slot machine I've ever seen in my life. It is nothing but equipping ostensibly cute girls with equipment and then waiting and watching as static images fire explosions at each other at random and hoping yours dont get hurt or else you have to retreat and try all over again. Aren't you supposed to be an admiral? What kind of incompetent pile of shit admiral can tell his ships when to advance or retreat or night battle but can't tell them to aim at the right opponent? anime was shit as well, dropped it 3 episodes in and it was such a waste of time I'm irritated I didn't do it sooner.

NO Admiral in WW2 controlled what the Local ships did, even the Admirals attached to fleets had NO control over what the individual ships did.
Not even the ships they were on.
Even in the Imperial Japanese Navy, if the Captain of a ship determined that the Admiral was jeopardizing said ship, they were doctrinally entitled to execute said Admiral. Of all the Navies involved in WW2, the US was considered NICE because protocol was to lock the Admiral in their quarters.
Ship actions were decided by Captains.
Fleet actions were determined by Admirals.
Fleet actions did not include focus firing on one target.
This makes absolutely no sense in a game like this and should have been done away with.
The Players should have controlled the actions of all of the girls.
But they did have an excuse.
It was a bad one.
So-called 'realism' should have given way to Playability.

Is the doujin world the only way of a fan? Mostly music: is a japanese who makes music based on franchises (fan-music) automatically part of the doujin scene? Does it really work like that? we americans don't have such community.
I'm asking this because I greatly dislike the way doujin music seems to work. I hate the fact that they are "musicians" whose works seem to be all arranged, rearranged, etc; aka freaking remixes, remixes, and remixes.
I'm asking for artists who are artists in the sense that they are individuals who make original music. Suggestions?

No, you've got it wrong. Remember, the Touhou universe is ostensibly our universe, so everything we know about natural history is still true. Furthermore, anything to do with gods, youkai, or magic only exists because of the fact that human thoughts and beliefs can affect the world in a tangible way. That phenomenon just isn't visible to us, the readers, because modern society no longer collectively believes in it, basically.
In other words, humans created gods, not the other way around.
One piece missing from that is fairies. They're not based strictly on human belief, but on a more fundamental sort of 'life force' created by billions of years of life-and-death competition among all living things. So they've been around, albeit not in humanoid forms, for a long time before we came along.
