I'm making a lecture about TRPG in Japan. I'm looking for knowledgable person who could answer my questions about this subject. Right now I'm collecting materials from English Wikipedia and google translated Japanese Wikipedia. I found out about such obscure things like Role & Roll Magazine and Wizardry RPG from 1988. Anyone can help?

News:
-The Spring 2017 event has ended.
-Anniversary seasonal sprites have been replaced with hanataba seasonal sprites, which have been implemented for Yuugumo, Naganami, Harusame Kai, and Mizuho.
-Nagato can now be remodelled to Kai 2 at level 88 with a blueprint. The Nagato-class BBs now also have unique gun modifiers.
-Four new quests have been implemented, of which two require Nagato Kai 2 and reward a large extension bulge, one rewards a furniture worker, and one is a monthly expedition quest rewarding two large furniture boxes.
-A bug where the voice line remodelling Kasuga Maru into Taiyou doesn't work properly has been fixed.
-A Kai 2 is planned for Kumano and Yura this early summer. Saratoga and at least one more BB and CL will also get a second remodel.
-The 5th year of KanColle will see something "interesting" regarding foreign ships.
-New Akizuki- and Matsu-class destroyers are under plans to be added.

So tell me about dies irae if anyone actually read it here.
I know its known for have hard japanese but whats it like exactly? does it have fleshed out characters or is character focused? is it mature or childish? is it more a total action vn like tokyo battle was ( I would hate this) or more plot focused and character focused at least then that.
I can't see how its bad like that after all this praise from the ends of the earth since before /jp/.
plus if it was written in hard jap, would it still have a bad plot or turn out bad in English?

Also a retard question that ticked me off but does this vn bare any resemblance to FSN because my retarded friend who has no idea what it is who read the description without knowing its praise or how big a deal this is said that, while it really sounds nothing like it.
