Never doubt the power of autism.
This is a project started about a month ago. The concept is simple: Just fill in the area of the world you live in. We hope to one day fill out the entire map, or at least have every place where /int/ users live in.
Regarding the UK: We decided this in a poll last time. This isn't going to change anymore.
>Regarding Mato Grosso, what's wrong with that?
same as Amazonas and Acre, very few people living there. All of those have cities that most likely have our third world internet just the same as me, but we barely have people who can speak english and they are a rare enough sight in BR internet.
The dude can just pick which flag he's going to show, no? Acre could be a joke.
You can call me a naive faggot, but I believe people don't have much of a reason to lie about this.
Acres has a population of over 750,000, which is higher than (I think) every province in my country. Is it really that inconceivable that at least one of them browses 4chan?
It's a pretty common joke, so I think it'd be more likely.
>don't have a reason to lie about this
I generally agree. Eh, it's not all that inconceivable, but see map.
Do you live in Manawatu?
I know of this, but I feel it's not really the same.
When you have points that can stack, it doesn't have the same satisfaction as slowly filling up the map.
>he hasn't seen Nork flags on /int/ before
Zeeland is literally on the other side of the country for me. I could do Flevoland, but I'm lazy.
I couldn't help but notice it wasn't possible to determine if Sint Maarten, Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Eustatius and Saba were filled or not. Bonaire is filled, though.
>We got a goy from Lelystad lad
Looks like I forgot to colour that in the other day.
Probably a tourist, though while I usually don't accept filling in spot people are only visiting, I would accept it for places that don't have anyone who live there, like areas in the Sahara and that park in Greenland, or North Korea. Proofs will be needed, of course.
Added Anguilla, St. Martin, St. Maarten, St. Barts, Saba, St. Eustatius, Montserrat, and BVI.
I think I'll correct Zambia's borders next
It's alright, you simply tried to make the map more accurate by removing NZ
Here you go!
There was a large argument over many threads on whether the UK should be only England, Scotland, Wales, and NI, or split further as it is now. We finally decided to split it further with a pretty decisive poll last time, and I am just sick of the argument.
Allright, filled in a province in Hungary (using >>53264887)
My town is a seaside town near Blackpool and we get old Brits, French and Germans come and visit
Blackpool is popular with Scots
I would imagine that Geordies go to Blackpool as well, but I don't notice them
The new Muchinga province was missing. Added in pic related.
I was possibly thinking that
The constituent countries are almost equivalent to the states of the USA, and the counties of the countries are equivalent to the counties of the states
Also, I wonder if other countries have been divided into the same amount of subdivisions. I don't think France or China have.
Counties are kinda weird. They get bigger the further west you go. That means most of the Western states would be better represented in this map in terms of area colored. Then there are some states that don't use the same system too I think. Check out Massachusetts system.
I'm reserving my autism for personal use.
I've got my own maps/sketches to make.
-City of Kyiv is now in the right place
-Districts of Azerbaijan added
-City of Ashgabat added
-Provinces of Zambia corrected
You're from Oman? Are you the Omani who posted a picture of his workplace several months back?
I changed Dornogovi in Mongolia to Selenge.
Went back to the post (https://desustorage.org/int/thread
/52507217/) and he said Selenge but coloured in Dornogovi, so I'm sticking with what he said.
There was one Russian who requested Chechnya.
>considering 4chan's all banned over there
There is at least one Omani poster, although it doesn't post often. The one I mentioned posted proofs of his office.
You sure it's banned?
Harju and Silesia filled in. Kind of surprised Silesia hasn't posted before you.
Fuck's sake I knew I'd have to deal with the mess that is the UAE someday.
>compulsive creation and editing of geography articles on Wikipedia
>even more compulsive ctrl- and alt-tabbing between tabs and windows of Wikipedia articles, AH forum posts, and sites like those
>Photoshop permanently open for map editing
Shit like that
I actually think of stuff like this as an outlet for autism. I release my autistic tendencies into here instead of talking to people about chinese cartoons in real life or something.
>since if I click random geography quiz chances are that I've played it.
the tism runs deep
