I used to browse /trv/, but it's just too slow. I think /int/ honestly works better for travel discussion, and I wish we could merge the two, and have an own board for language generals.
>>51190107
Best boards are /tv/, /sp/, /a/ and /int/

does /trv/ have any menes?

I'm a regular poster on /trv/ and the two boards are nothing alike. While /trv/ is much slower, the community is also a lot more mature and helpful than here. For instance, some idiot made a "how do I avoid designated streets in India?" thread, and it got taken over by regular posters who answered questions and gave extremely helpful advice for people were actually interested in traveling there. Troll threads are usually quickly shut down; meme posters are usually ignored or told to go back to one of the containment boards.
/int/ is basically /trv/'s retarded cousin who's never left the basement.
A lot of the posters on /trv/ actually travel and do so regularly. I've been to about thirty countries in the last two and a half years.
/int/ is just a clusterfuck of retarded-ass meme-posters. I like this board, too, but it's just a few steps below /r9k/ in regards to predictable responses over certain topics.
