What are some notable Japanese contributions to modern philosophical thought, or notable historical Japanese contributions to philosophy?

The issue is not having people to do jobs, which is bad for the economy. Other countries have imported vast numbers of immigrants to deal with this, and are now seeing what happens when your 2nd-3rd generation of bio-robots don't have jobs and fall to extremism.
