also if you have the chance to change the hostel i would recomend you palermo or recoleta, places you MUST visit

i don't like san telmo. the buildings are ugly and the sidewalks are too small. also at night you should be careful (probably nothing will happen anyway). always there are many tourists there though.
the map that the guy posted is accurate.
to me, the best neighbourhood to stay is palermo. really better. but it's surely more expensive than san telmo
