El Nino lads. My area and most of NORTH north america has a more mild winter this year ebacuse of it, this time last year there was a foot of snow on the ground and was around -10c. Currently it's 3C.
my area is JUST about on the yellow edge of the "Dry" spot. where that piece of land spits out into Lake erie.
Apparently it's 7:01 and 4:35
>tfw less and less sun every day
I love it when more than half the day is night.
>>51096603
Cool. No doubt we northerners grow up loving the snow, but it's also lovely when we get a break from it.
Sunrise at 5:55 AM
Sunset at 8:17 PM
So 14 hours and 23 minutes of daylight at the moment.
>>51096760
Yeah for sure. It's weird how here we get a fuck load of snow and cold as fuck weather, but not a very early sunset in the winter, earliest is 4:45pm, probably because i'm in the western part of my timezone.
>>51096857
What time is sunset/sunrise in summer for you guys?
>>51096887
Longest day for me is
sunrise 5:42AM
sunset 9:04PM
what about you?
>>51096887
Longest here:
Rises at 3:08
Sets at 23:53
Though the sun sets, it doesn't get dark.
now its around 7am/8:30 pm
>>51096857
It's because you're not as far north. You get a lot of snow and colds because you're inland, and because you have a colder climate than central Europe. I'm not sure exactly where in that yellow dry zone you meant when you explained where you live, but that lake which is called Lake Huron is about 44-45 degrees north, which is the same latitude as northern Italy.
7:51/16:37 right now
Latest sunrise is 8:26 on around Jan 1, earliest sunset 16:27 around Dec 14 (it's a bit assymetric)

True, but my area's earliest sunset is 4:46pm, but a city like Boston in is in the same timezone as me and it's 4:10pm. Far eastern parts of Quebec (such as Chevery) the sunset there goes to 2:52pm.
>>51101942
Timezones aren't what you're supposed to look at.
Go on wikipedia and check your city, look for this (pic related). Boston is 42 degrees north.

How do you people living there deal with seasonal depression?
I like to wake up early but when my room is still dark in the morning I get super depressed and become very inactive. Even the sky looks so dead during winter.
>>51104135
I deal with seasonal depression by being depressed all year round instead.

What crime does one have to commit to end up there?
