The same goes for South Africa. Everyone is equal now (though technically by law they aren't), but only equal in their poverty. I'm an expat who went to an international school here (and in Finland) and the only other South Africans I met were 4 white ones. The only black one, mixed-race, but predominantly black, was a Jew whose mother was white.
