I've been thinking of going to native protests though and lending my voice about all the 50 year old white homeless guys in the alleys behind my building who have 20-30 year old native girlfriends all hopped up on all sorts of drugs. It sick, it's disgusting, it's bad for the community and for the girls. The municipal and provincial governments need to do something about native girls in relationships with 20-30 year age gaps that involve drugs. It's demeaning to both races and it's quite frankly disgusting. There is enough angry young native and also white boys out there who could really start knocking the heads of these crusty old fucks if the government won't do anything about it.

People talk about the missing and murdered indigenous women a lot but noone speaks about the age gap and drug use in these homeless couplings.

On the east coast I wouldn't consider them real, but there are groups that follow traditions and are legally considered tribes but generally are just white or black people with 1/8 native ancestry.

In the midwest and southwest you have substantial tribes of people who are either fully genetically native american or majority native, live on reservations and can (some of them) communicate with each other in their native languages. I only really know anything about the Puebloans and Navajo though.

Spanish New Mexican. We go through the same shit with people trying to make us become Mexican/Chicano but with the addition of people calling us racist because we don't consider ourselves native american and celebrate our Spanish traditions/history. I have hope though. I have the benefit of being young, which means that I can teach other people around me and other New Mexicans without them having too many set in stone misconceptions about ourselves. SJWs are always a problem, but the fact that I'm brown and will be able to speak Spanish will help. The biggest problem is old people to be quite honest, but it's a good thing that they'll all die before me. The Puebloans were the first people in North America to practice agriculture and have lived in pueblos (some of which are still inhabited) for thousands of years. Check out the pic in my last post. The oldest continuously inhabited place in the US. I don't think any nomadic tribes exist anymore. I could be wrong though.
