What's the "poor person" accent in your country?

Mine: Blackpool accent or North England in general.

The situation in England is more complex than in other anglo countries, since your accents are not merely geographical but encompass social classes and educational institutions.

Most regional accents in the US have eroded during the television era; the strong accents that remain generally do not carry a connotation of economic status with them
>>
Southern redneck
>>

no class accents here
very little in the way of accents in general actually

having poor grammar and using English words is usually considered a mark of being uneducated but not necessarily poor
>>
Northern Alabaman accent. It doesn't matter if you graduated from Harvard, and your parents work at the NASA facility there, you will never get a job anywhere.

Ebonics or southern accent.

>AAVE or a really thick Southern accent

Pretty much, the moor money you have the moor you sound like someone from CNN or even Fox News although some of the female presenters have a bit of a Southern accent.

I remember this time I bought a coffee from Starbucks in New York and the girl who gave it to me called it "caawfee" what accent is this?

Why does money make your regional identifiers vanish?
>>
Ebonics or Southern. They're essentially the same thing, as someone who grew up in the deep south.
