is ireland good to live in?
>>51058657
Yes, if you like to complain and drink to your heart's content, come to Ireland.
>>51058758
I love Ireland and visit it annually, though I do have a very strong English accent, but I'm half Irish and am a Catholic, what would the general opinion of me be if i were to live there?
Dear Ireland,
Please pick up your retarded kids, you left them here several hundred years ago and things are getting weird.
Sincerely,
A FUCKING LEAF

I really like your language and your pronunciation.
Keep it alive by creating a Celtic thread in here. I promise I won't meddle anymore.

There's lots of English in Ireland. You'll be grand over here. It's just them pesky protestants in the north...

Say hello to my cousin Kevin for me.
Hey friends. I'm very seriously considering immigrating to Ireland. The world is pretty much going to shit and It's always been my dream to have some land outside of a big city in the country. I see Ireland has a lot of cheap land for sale and It's appealing to me because English and Catholicism.
My question is how hard would it be to find a stable job there? I'm a carpenter by trade, but am good with pretty much any tool and have a strong back. Assuming I have enough saved to buy the property itself, how realistic will I be able to find work to support myself?
;^)

>>51059411
Well, for starters, there's always a need for trades. You'd be sorted for work if you come over. Although I've no idea what the money is like in it.
>>51059738
Sounds pretty great honestly. I just need to do some research on private wells and see how self sufficient I could make myself.
>>51059411
>because English
Don't come here if you don't plan to learn Irish, we don't need more anglicising influence grma.
>>51061342
How hard is Irish? Is it even a real language or just a meme language?
>>51062225
It is hard but not extremely so. Define what you mean by meme language. Irish is not widely spoken now but it's not a made-up language like Scots or Spanish.
>>51062225
Ní sé deacair ar bith. D'fhoghlaim mé an teanga is dhein mé é i rith an bhliain seo caite
>>51062275
If I bought a house in Cavan, would I have it spoken to me regularly and immediately be shunned for not grasping it?
Also ginger btw so it should help me fit in.
Also roughly how degenerate is Ireland?
On a scale of Poland burning jewish effigies to Canada telling you it's 2015 when asked why our defense minister is a transgender wiccan.
>>51062405
No. Instead they'd shun you for not being a stingy cunt like them.
>>51062537
Things are getting very YES here unfortunately
An féidir le Haon duine anseo Gaeilge a labhairt?

So like...finland tier...maybe?
>>51062999
B'fhéidir. Cad a dhíolann tú?
