usually "ye" is same as in english, but we have words with "Eh" also and if you write them with "ye" instead of "Eh" it will be retarded (it will sound retarded in russian)

Most Slavic languages have two sets of vowels: one plain (they sound akin to Spanish A E I O U) and one iotated (they sound like they had a short I sound before them). For /e/ and /i/, the "default" values are iotated, so most of the time they will sound as /ye/ and /yi/.

It depends on the timeframe... early Koine resembles more Classical, late Koine resembles more Modern.

But in general:

Alphabet - the same, but letters had different values. φ/θ/χ for example sounded like Pill/Till/Kill (nowadays they sound more like Fill/THill/Hill). υ sounded like French "u" or German "ü". This kind of thing.

Vocabulary - one or two borrowings here and there, but still pretty much the same. However, time took its toll, so some old roots are barely recognizable - for example Γη used to sound like geh-eh, nowadays it's something like "yee".

Hey guys, I'm working on another script for Romanian and I ended up making a pan-balkanic alphabet of sorts, yet I'm not quite content with it.

It works as a spelling reform for greek, ι being the only version of i, replacing the other letters and digraphs, η being used for /ə/, Y υ being separated in two letters: Y y and U υ, the first being used for /y/ and the last one doesn't really have a sound although I've been using it for /ɨ/, o becomes /w/ and ω remains /o/.

There are new letters for MP, NT, GK and even for sounds that appear in Cypriot Greek, such as /ʃ/.
