Get a guide, seriously, or at least someone who knows the forest. The only ones who I know go trekking in the jungle alone have either lived there all their life or have years of experience.
Getting lost in that shit is really no party, and if anything even happens to you, which can VERY WELL HAPPEN considering all the shit I've seen crawling there, noone will ever find your body.
It takes some serious preparation to go camping in the jungle, that's not something you should improvise.
