/ic/ is shit. it is filled with people who can't draw, are only concerned with shitting on other artists, or idiots who read a few anatomy books and consider themselves experts. where else can i go to get actual good critique on my work?

Post your work

If you want actual critique (whatever that means to you) you pay up $$$ to an expert. Otherwise you deal with your /ic/ family as elsewhere won't give you anything but asspats.
What's wrong with /ic/s critique? Take everything with a grain of salt and that's it.
Also, post your work.

Crimson Daggers
Go
here's my work. i want to be semi competent at drawing the human figure by next month.
i'm posting from my phone so i don't feel like quoting anyone, but basically the (little) crit i've gotten from /ic/ is some pretentious bs that doesn't tell me what to do, or loomis.

Sounds like the problem is with you. Your expectations are already fucked and you keep placing the blame on others. Don't believe in what other people tell you either not read Loomis. Absolutely not gonna make it with that attitude. Change or continue to be terrible, just don't make threads if you're not going to change.

I would suggest making the face longer so it doesn't look as if you are drawing 12 year old girls.
yikes
i dare you to draw bigger. nobody needs to crit you. just draw your anishit bigger. Youll see.
Sycra forums. Leave and never post here again
draw bigger because everyone can see youre too scared to draw seriously and will probably lash out and take bait, which explains everything doesnt it

If you're gonna draw anime grils, make sure it's not generic and flat. Know how to follow anatomy rules and insert your own style along the way.

>make sure it's not flat
this is definitely something i struggle with. how do i make shit look dynamic. Perspective?
>>3138215
Unironically gesture. If you've watch the video on Yoh Yoshinari fixing someone's animation to make it more dynamic, you might understand what I mean. It's the subtle changes that make it really stand out.

Perspective, poses, knowing how to shade and color. Animation gives you the power to exaggerate features, so take advantage of it. I find cosplay references to be help with all their funky poses and shots.

Is that still up?
