Alright, never posted here before so I don't know much. Basically I got these brushes for xmas last year because I do miniature painting but many of them are too big for the miniatures. So I am going to try to paint a picture of my D&D group's D&D party for them. Many of them have already made drawings of their characters so I have some reference images. The thing is, I bought these preprimed canvasses on sale, I don't know what kind of paint to use? (I have acrylic paints from my parents I can use but maybe some oils too I would have to look). I am not a real artist, pic related is how shitty my drawings are. But this is for my friends, not me. So I may need to cheat a bit. Certainly I am going to pencil stuff in first and work on it a lot before I start painting. Any advice for me, besides "don't do it"? I feel relatively confident I can paint something passable for us to hang on the wall of our game room, and for them to enjoy at xmas time.
Pic unrelated, except to show what a shit drawer I am.
