You know that's a pretty interesting observation. I think /ic/ might be super tiny. I only come here once every few months because it's full of angry jerks, but everytime I do it's so small that I get the feeling that even being anonymous a lot of people here /do/ know each other. It's that small. That even through text alone they know who is who sometimes. Then you've got your nosebros.

Also art style gives you away. If I posted my art I'd be recognized both here, and in some other places on 4chan.

The worst thing is when you draw something and someone takes it personally, like "they're mocking me" or "that's supposed to be me?" Happens a lot in real life as well of course. Some artists live for that kind of feud though, like "lissen up pal, you've just tagged in the wrong neighbourhood!"
