This is what gives namefags a bad name. No wonder everyone thinks I'm a cocksucker.

I would ditch the symbol drawing. The composition is kinda boring and if you make the portrait half the picture, pay very close attention to the proportions in the face. Your linework is quite unappealing as well, it would overall look better if you "sculpted" your drawings aka use shadows and highlights to define form instead of outlining everything. Makes it look a bit infantile. But it is not really "bad" otherwise.
