nah I was desperate for shitty xmas cash and did 4 8x16 walls for 1000. That's a steal. I usually charge 1000 per wall and get talked down to like 800ish.

But he ended up just wanting faux finish without plaster so I gave him what he paid for 9_9

lel I always forget to take a picture at the end because it's like 5 in the morn and I just want to leave and then I just collect my check a day later and never want to deal with it again... then a couple days pass and I'm like fuck I forgot the pic... gahhh... On that note today I purchased portfolio stuff, my november resolution is to start an actual portfolio to get new work... don't have any personal or biz social media though... I don't care for it, although I've heard it helps :c

hit up restaraunts and small biz that makes enough money and cares for aesthetics... food industry, salon industry are the best. banks and other places that rich people go are the places that art shouldd hang. Bring them a portfolio or ask for a comissioned piece or mural or create stuff for them. If you can't get your stuff sold with that, try hanging in a popular kitch bar that has expensive drinks and offer them 30% comission. Usually if it's nice and fits the vibe, bars will let you hang for comission. It adds to their aesthetic and makes them look fancy cuz they can "afford" art. I've sold a lot of paintings at higher prices in bars. you can sell cheap for like 600-1000 or sell high with "negotiable" tag and get like 1000-3000 there

also xmas "holiday art sales" works. make shitty flower paintings or basiclaly stuff you'd see in a home decoration store art and sell it ultra cheap. People buy
