You're 35 and your mom has to find you somewhere to volunteer? What the fuck man?
I keep my grandma company, and she lets me sleep on her couch and eat her food.
I'm 23, taking care of my grandmother and working part time as an lumberjack.
Beginner, pic related. I struggle a lot with drawing from imagination.
I still hope that I can beat procrastination, leave /ic/ forever and become a professional illustrator.
Thank you for posting that. Knowing that there are people like you fills me with determination.
Do you mind posting your work?
>work full time

>think to myself im going to draw hard today
>do my best
>looks like I shit on the paper decide my best effort
>try to push through more

27yo. Manager of the Services area in a City Hall, quite good. As for drawing, I have been doing it for around 3 years and a half as a hobby, 99% of my art it's cute animu style; I enjoy it.
I'm sorry anon. I'm in a similar situation so I know how hard it is to be 24/7 care for someone. People always say "oh that's so easy you just make them food and help them around the house - what an cushy job!"
Those people don't truly know how hard it is until they have to do it themselves, and once they've done it they will usually pay someone else to do it shortly after.
Hang in there :)
