Seriously.
A shitty mic and a crummy attempt to be engaging will make your analysis or whatever look way worse than if it was just in text form.

Pic related: Buying gesso in bulk and applying it to anything is a much better option than buying a packaged canvas.

Acrylic gesso is completely different than Rabbit Skin Glue Gesso.

Making gesso with water, RSG, and Gypsym results in gesso that's extremely brittle, which is best for hard supports like wood.

However, I have noticed one interesting thing; If you make RSG and gypsym gesso, and apply it to canvas, then paint a picture on it, by applying heat, then pressure on the dry picture, you can cause the gesso to crack, like old paintings. This can be brought out with a dark wash, but the crack patterns resemble old paintings perfectly. This was what art forgers did to forge old looking paintings.

I'd recommend buying Acrylic Matte Medium in bulk. You can paint a thin layer over a drawing that you then paint over, with the drawing showing through. It's basically Acrylic Gesso, without the gritty binder and white pigment.

just some info, i would like to be able to animate sprite sheets in .png format

drawing directly onto the program is not necessary

pick one.

I don't know programs for animating from sprite sheets besides game maker studio, but you can't export the animations as gifs or anything.

You could try looking on Pixeljoint, they should have a list of programs with info on them.

Thought this might be the place to ask this kinda question since you guys have seen many pixels in your lifetime.

Is this a photobash? some guy is promoting his art all over the place and he's saying that it's a painting but I have my doubts.
Is there any way to figure out if it's a photobash or not?

There seem to be a few very inconsistent parts so it probably is photobash

Will perspective drawing will me construct the human figure from imagination? Did it help any of you guys?

Learning anatomy is a bitch and my figures always come out looking like shit.

Pic related is of an exercise I did from Scott's book. Am I suppose to apply the same shit to anatomy or something?

>>
>>2610735
No, only apply what you learned to drawing cars and then you will magically wake up a master of the human body.
>>
>>2610735
Nice bread.
>>
>>2610735

for figure drawing, it's more productive to be less analytical and just get the shapes out faster. the cylinders you use to bound the limbs will be at weird angles anyway so getting it exact is impractical.

however this requires a good foundation. your exercise looks good to me.

ultimately, yes, perspective is the same when applied to the human figure, but you'll focus on key parts (i.e. collar bones) instead of defining space like you're doing there.

I like the aesthetic. TO the right of the guy hanging I noticed there is an outline of a bigger guy. Maybe try to embellish that a little more, so it looks like the guys spirit leaving his body or something.
>>
>>2614450
thank you!
the outline is there becaus i first tried drawing some scarey "slenderman-like" thing, but it sucked so i tried to erase it.
but i really like your idea with the spirit leaving the body. gonna try that!
