Do you guys know of any free/good 3D anatomy programs/sites that cover skeleton, and muscular? I fnd them to be more helpful than books in terms of learning.
NMA has an excellent version but it isn't free
>>2634860
any torrents?
>>2634862
It's embedded into the sight so I doubt it
Might try your luck with this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.catfishanimationstudio.AnatomyForTheArtist&hl=en
Thoughts?
Created with a magnifying glass and the Sun.
Nope?
It's a cool idea and method, but try making something a bit more aesthetic next time. Just looks a like a tribal tattoo.

YES this is my jam. For a couple years I would burn a whole walking stick each summer.
Here's one I did forever ago
What are key elements for a good character design? Especially if you are designing for an action adventure series for kids?
>>2630997
Knowing his/her ambitions/backstory/abilities or powers.
Your pick has a scarred up, somewhat feminine/boyish character
many pieces of clothing shows he/she has a grenade like ability etc. Think of what the character is before deciding how the character will look.
>>2630997
Well the obvious elements of appealing design (asymmetry, shape language, simple silhouette, complimentary color palette etc.) + storytelling.
By storytelling I mean that it shouldn't be random, every asset should be somehow rooted in the character's abilities, backstory or temperament.
It should be recognizable and memorable, just by looking at the design one should be able to deduce who they are/what they do.

Is that your art OP?
I got an idea for a new long lasting web comic and I have so many ideas that would leave me to busy focusing on one comic .
But I want you to decide which Idea would be better and could last pretty long for a web comic?
> A sci-fi where anthro characters and human characters fight against former humanoid robots to save the planet from a robot invasion.
>A fantasy comic with anthro (can be humans too) where beasts can be slain but it will have to have a story line to the modern era (can be nsfw but separate from the sfw files.)
> Could be a comedic work place comic.( nsfw can be allowed) Anthro is included.
> A detective / street racer comic no anthro just normal people with real cars involved.
> Or just your ideas and suggestion that could either make sense or is just easy to do for a certain amount of time.
Pick your answer and we will start.

what does that mean?

What are you going to do?
Hi, i'm looking for some Youtube Channel or another page that does Live Streaming with comic artists, doed anybody know one?
>>2632849
Most comic artists don't livestream.
I would also be interested in this.
bump for interest
i have parkinson's and i want to draw, is there anyways i can without my hands?
>>2628698
I have hand tremors, which I understand is basically like mild parkinsons.
The more I draw the better control over my shaking I get. Mad love senpai.
holding a pen with both hands may stabilize the motion. maybe a stupid suggestion, I have no idea what it's like
Can you hold a pen? The ability to draw comes mostly from your brain not your motor skills (shaky lines may even add flavor). I've also seen a girl decently paint with feet.

Animation
Illustration
Comics
Wich one is the "easiest" (I know there's no real easy tho) path, for someone who starts out late and will probably only have barely ok skills?
I'm guessing comics, since some top selling comics of any nationality sometimes have clearly flawed fundamentals.
But then comics is also probably harder than illustration, because I suppose some illustrators can just repeat themselves, polish, and avoid doing what they don't know how to do (backgrounds, random props...)
Animation seems to be the hardest. Because obviously you have to be able to draw anything, adapt a lot, and...well learn movement in a deeper way than just gestures.
I'm also interested in knowing the very basic process for finding work in those different areas (considering I live in a small city in Europe and will probably be looking for work through Internet).
Thanks a lot for anyone who takes the time to answer. I'm just trying to get things straight and have a better view, because I'm really thinking about making drawing a career, since my current job is just for money, and I don't care about money, I want to have fun and grow spiritually.
>>2634373
There's examples of popular work with flawed fundamentals in all 3.
I think illustration is the easiest since you don't have to think of a story or think of things sequentially like you do with the other 2.
Animation (specifically 2D) is probably the hardest to get really good at imo.
It depends on the level of work that gets put into the medium. But assuming the quality of work is equal between them, illustration is the easiest, while animation is the hardest.
Finding work in art shouldn't be difficult if you're a skilled artist, however finding a studio job in a city that isn't based on entertainment is difficult.
My advice would be to network yourself. Post your artwork on art sites and make a name for yourself. If you're good enough, you'll be able to make a living from commissions or find a studio job.
Hey guys, I've had this issue with a sketchbook, or more accurately I've had an issue getting one. I want to be able to customize mine. The issue is that i can't seem to find any good places to do so. It's always just some site with a variety with the word 'Customization' plastered all over it when in fact it's nothing but a lie. Does anyone seem to know a good place, or a good solution to my issue. Also please excuse me if this isn't the right place to ask this. I've had a many sketchbooks in the past, but i want to have a really meaningful book to draw some of my most memorable work.
>>2634313
Just make your own. Binding sketchbooks isn't particularly difficult, or if you're lazy there are pre-made systems that you can invest in and just add your own paper, like the Staples Arc/Levenger/Circa, or Midori Traveler's Notebook. You can also buy your paper and take it to a print shop to have one bound.

I never thought of that. Thanks, i appreciate it.
thought I'd share this with you guys.

Hockney is a retarded hack
Experimenting with some new painting styles and need outside opinions. What do you like / not like?
>>2632019
The style looks pretty cool. I'm a beginner so take what I say with a grain, but I think the outlines could stand to be thinned down a bit. The skull itself is fuckhuge and looks a bit out of perspective as well.
Shit or not?
Dammit
yep
