I want to be able to draw monsters like the one you can see in berserk/claymore/blade of the phantom master.
How do i go about doing this though? I can draw average, i can draw pretty well from my imagination and just copying pictures is pretty okay too. Lets say for instance i want to draw this tigre in the picture than ofcourse i should have some basic skills on drawing animals right?

skin (with and without hair)
ofcourse you would learn each skin when trying to pin down the anatomy.
After that, add wicked shit to create monsters.

Is Art School worth it? I'm sure that's all anyone talks about here 24/7 but im new to the forum i usually just lurk /b/. Only just now looked for an Art forum. I've always liked art and i have AP art next semester and i want to work on my art skills and maybe make a career out of it if I can i've always liked drawing and art Any tips on making a career out of art? Pure skill, your popularity and connections, this is true for almost any craft though.
It's just a safer bet to have a tumblr it whatever/blog or portfolio because that's the primary way to get popularity today and on top of that it can get you connections.

So, a while back I had been asked by a friend to work on a "Dutch angel dragon" for him to use as an avatar. I haven't done art for other people very often (especially fursonas), so, seeing as I have little experience with this and few people I can really ask for opinions, I've decided to ask thee, 4chan, for critique on improving it so far. (I also don't quite understand making ear fluffs so suggestions on that would be cool! P.S. Yes, the buckle is a fur pattern xD, and I only have the head and neck done in this pic.

So I don't draw very often, but when I did most times back in day i was on mushrooms, acid or something hallucinogenic. Kinda don't do it all too often but I still draw.
It's a 20' by 30' poster board, done with Gel Ink pens from a locate art store? Kinda not doing shit with my life, should I pursue this hobby, almost make something from them? Each on takes about 4-5 months. Yes, months.
