Sounds like you're copying reference instead of learning from it. Copying something without attempting to understand it is where the problem most likely stems from. Here's a math comparison.

you see 2+2 =4. So you write that down over and over. You don't know WHY 2+2=4 so when you have to do 3+2, you're stumped. But if you know that + means that two things are put together to create a greater sum, and then three things and two things would make five together, then when you come up again 7+3 or anything else, you will always have an answer.

Learn from your reference. Don't just copy it. Another thing you can do is look at ref and do something different. Say you look at the first hand, instead of drawing that, have it hold a cup. Look at the way the fingers are bending-try to look at that and extrapolate how the fingers would bend around a cup. Then look at a hand holding a cup. Fix the mistakes. You've learned something.

In my case , it doesn't matter.

I am a naturally skilled drawer and sculpter. In fact, in the 3rd grade i was able to accuratly draw a womans or mans figure at just about any position just like you are doing now. But not the same way. I was able to pic up a pencil and from memory just draw. I'm not bashing you techniques at drawing, but I have never understood why people need to use underlining to draw simple stuff. I was always able to draw what I see just how I see it, shading aswell. My technique is to look at what u want to draw, and imagine it 2D or flat, then draw it as you see it, also for shading, just add shadows and dark areas just how you see it. And then once you draw it once, u can draw it anytime without needing the object. Basically I am able to copy what I see and draw it how I see it.

/ic/ needs IDs. That's how you ward off shitposters.
