What photoshop brush is being used here? Im having trouble achieving it. Im using the pencil brush with shape dynamics on, but it isnt coming out the way I expected.

Looks like a brush with anti aliasing setting. Probably either CSP or Sai rather than PS. Also next time use the question thread.
>>
>>2724473
That's definitely exactly what they're using, though. Their settings for min size and tablet sensitivity might be slightly different, but it seems like it's the default brush otherwise. They just have a different way of drawing.

I thought the same thing. In Sai, I wasnt able to find or knew how to set up, a brush like in the pic above, so I was using PS for it.

Advice? Tattoo is about 9 years old now, only 7 in photo. Btw I'm a pretty nice guy, but can be an asshole if I need to be. This seemed like a good place to get the advice that I need, since nobody else says anything about it. Been having a hard time getting, and keeping jobs lately. Not sure if it's worth it anymore.

>Btw I'm a pretty nice guy, but can be an asshole if I need to be.

>afraid to do bad work
>keep doing studies
>imaginative work stays shit

how do i get the confidence to make something bad from my imagination so i can get better

no matter how much i study perspective i won't be able to pull off shots with cool camera angles unless i fuck up first. it's inevitable that your first attempts will be trash, right?

First is always trash once you think of the work flow as an iterative process.

It's all about mileage. Feelings of accomplishment from first-round accuracy are a distraction from the main goal. Don't cash in too early.
>>
>>2719996
Do imaginative work and push it as far as you can, then spend some time to find or make some good reference and fix it up. It will A) look better, and B) teach you a lot.
>>
Get a cheap sketchbook or just a bundle of printing paper in a folder or something.

That's your imagination sketchbook. No references, no studies, just imagination drawings. You can do referenced works/studies elsewhere, but this is your imagination book.

Do at least a page a day. Doesn't matter if they're shit, you're not 'ruining' a sketchbook anyway. Nobody is going to see it. Ideally, do the same stuff you've been doing studies of lately, IE your perspective work. Keep track of what parts you struggle with - if you're doing figures from imagination and you forget how feet work, write it down. But fill your page before you start looking up tutorials. Examine what's shit, and try to fix it yourself first. If you really can't get it right, remember it the next time you do a study.

It's a little weird but lately I've actually found it exciting when I do imagination stuff and find a thing I'm shit at. If I sit there going "how the fuck do I do this?" it gives me a very solid sense of direction for my studies. When you're just doing endless studies you sometimes lose grasp of what you actually need to practice. So consider mistakes as opportunities, a guiding hand for your practice.

is there a name for mixing diferent styles in the same piece?

like doing portrait and anime and cartoons and stick figures in the same drawing?

something similar to panty and stocking, world of gumball, harvey birdman, drawn togheter?

opinions on this?
Is literally my dream as an artists to do that.

Are there any english books that go in depth in terms of using clip studio paint? I've read the manual on their website but it doesn't exactly cover all of the functions.

I found everything I looked for there.

>>

Isn't this just manga studio? Maybe that'll get you more english hits?

Maybe you just helped inspire a homeless man to draw porn for a living. You should have had a wacom tablet in your bag. In a year or 2 we'll see on the news "homeless man finds hope through patreon and you wouldn't guess how" all thanks to you.

Why do you have to be such a bitch anyway laptops are dirt cheap.

Hello/ic/

I recently got this tv table,

I want to wrap the table to make cooler,
I have black, silver, gold, red, seaweed.

Give me ideas , inspo
Black table, red legs.

wrap it in a high quality black cloth, and then cover the entire surface of the top of the table with christmas lights, or other kinds of small cute lightbulbs, the table won't be usable, but it'll be full of lights.

I guess they have the Quadros in there for a 10-bit workflow, but it seems like complete overkill for what it is, especially if they decide to pair it up with mobile dual-core cpu. Storage prices are robbery as usual, a 64GB model shouldn't even exist.

Is there room in serious art criticism for an examination of the meme/furry/tumblr movements? If fine art is about deliberate intent, can conceptual exploration ever be carried out by the (evolution of the) sheer volume of work produced by the unconscious over mind? Or is there the option to take seriously what people have to "say" through their work in the same way that graffiti was eventually accepted? Does there need to be a direct line to proceeding movements (as with modern and post-modern art), or does there need to be legitimization by current fine artists (as with Basquiat and Warhol)?

You can say it's shit but beyond gallery showings they're doing glowing cultural reports on it on network news and Bratton is seen as a monster for cracking down on it. 99% of people under the age of 60 accept that it straddles the line between folk and fine art.
