How the hell i can compite with artists who gives pretty cheap prices for commissions? I cannot compite with a full render body commission below $20 or less than that.

What art style is this? I want to be able to sketch like this.
For those who may know I have a few questions:
1. Any particular resources for learning the fundamentals to this school of art?
2. How many hours would you estimate it requires to make a single one of these characters (with and without coloring)?
3. How much money would I need to spend to be able to start making art like this?

I'm not sure if there's a specific name. It's just realistic illustration. Basically just learn solid draftsmanship and painting, there's nothing magical or out of the ordinary here.
It'll take you a number of years to reach that level though. Once you are at that level each one might take anywhere from a day to a few days, depending on your personal speed and how good your reference is.

Hi everyone! I am new to this board and came here because of it being for art (and it seems critiques are available too!) These are my artworks. To give some idea of what I like to draw and for how long, I like drawing Sonic art and comic style. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, and I love drawing frequently but I am a hobbyist as well.
These are my drawings of primarily OCs and Sonic art and some other stuff. I would love a critique. :D For starters, this is my Inkling OC Takana done in pencil.

I'm very lazy, I'm usually too lazy to make art as it's time consuming and difficult. I was also too lazy to get a relevant picture, so there's my cat.
I've looked at Lazy Nezumi Pro and I'd probably be a lot more motivated to draw whilst using it.
Does anybody have a copy that they could give me?

He's using a fabled, secret shovel style.
let me explain in a bit.

First you tak a shovel and orient it on a canvas in the way you seem fit.
Then you draw a guidlines based on shovel's properties.
Then you slap Pit™ certified lips and cartoony style nose and eyes with excessive ammount of thickness
Add some detail and remove the shovel!

I'm an amazing artist but horribly disfigured and I don't want to offend anyone with a masterfully crafted depiction of borderline-gore. You can use your imagination if you want, but I wouldn't recommend it.
