How to find a lost creativity ?
I'm taking about the creativity we have when we are kids : no fear of judgments, no questions to ourselves like "is this good enough ?" Just the pleasure to do art, be original, express ourselves truly, and not be a kind of 'Frankenstein' based on all the artist we love.
I'm gonna stop watching others art and focus on my own. I'm tired of always being influenced by others work, I want to find my own voice. I feel like i'm doing an art overdose in a way. Every time I see an image I love i'm like "oh I want to be this good" or "I want to do this kind of thing too" and then, when I do art, I'm too much influenced and/or frustrated because my art looks too much like someone else art. I'm full of ideas, but I know these ideas are highly influenced by others and are not entirely mine.
Any advice/thought about this ?

Stop being a fagg
I bet you are one of those shitters that love "modern art". If you are good with fundamentals, theres no such thing as lost creativity. But sure, you dont want to be judged, you just want to make shitty worthless scribbles that you think is deep. Its very deep indeed, in your fucking ass.
>>2781702
> lost creativity.
More like you aren't that creative in the first place.
why is drawing considered hard? if you follow a textbook shouldn't it take no more than a week at best to be super good?
i think you're all just making poor decisions and aren't following the right principles. grab a book, listen to some music, sit in a comfy chair, and follow every word it says, especially when it says "not to follow every word to a t and instill your own style"
am i wrong here? or do you actually think you need talent?

My objective is make a greek sculpture in scale, but now im practicing with things like pic related and some monsters, anything it comes to my mind.
So do you have any advice or leasson about how work with anathomy, materials, or any trick?
And what about your works? And the tools?
Heres two more serious

my advice is make your images smaller and learn to focus your camera
I have a request. I would like a picture drawn, (hoping this is the right board) with this kind of art style. I'll post another pic in a second in the type of pose i want it in. I would like this because I'm thinking about getting it as a tattoo (depending on how it looks)

Here's the type of pose
Shameless self bump

Bumping within minutes doesn't bump your post anymore.
The third rule of /ic/ is that free requests are forbidden. What is your budget for this?
Who's the best internet artist to follow, observe, and take inspiration from? If any

I want to start getting more into graffiti. I live downtown in a very small white christian town with a few spots that are fairly far away(not even biking distance). Moving to Olympia next year. What do?

Don't fuck up whatever you have waiting for you in Olympia.
Go to /gd/ and learn about typography or some shut. Learn calligraphy. Idk
>>2773867
Fuck off cunt, most grafftiti writers know not to touch houses and shit.
>what are you drawing
>person just stands around watching you draw
be like me and have no one around you ever.
>Do you sketch?
>have sketchbook open
>have pencil in hand
>"did you draw that?"
I don't understand why this gets asked so often. Do people carry around other peoples sketchbooks?
I need someone to photoshop (or use whatever drawing tool) to add more detail to this picture (wich is is my potential band logo). You can do whatever you like to it, I just want the shapes to stay RELATIVELLY the same. Also a nice space background would be appreciated.
>>2781734
I'll do it for $350.
no problem dude, good luck with your band!

Now that's what I call SFW
let's get along edition
Because we should not have to make new threads or post in draw threads with our fundamental exercises.
Feel free to post even the smallest exercise you have done to show you are still trying, do not give up, make someone proud.
AVOID asking unrelated questions, there is a question thread for that.
RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO ~1000 PIXELS:
#1)
>screenshot the image and post that instead (I recommend ShareX)
#2)
>change camera capture settings to something smaller
#3)
>send to computer and resize in MSPaint

There's a new (and cleaner) sticky in town! You can see it at:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uwaXKU7ev6Tw_or__o8ARpUb6r2rCZYJGqwSFV9AD98/edit#bookmark=id.15jx3pyuimvj
>Thread study: Try to draw/paint the opening or any other following images.
Feel free to post your original works as well if you're trash.
TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.
OLD THREAD: >>2776397
Last thread: >>2767968
This thread is meant for artists who might want to try to make anime works in-between their studies. It is strongly recommended that you use this thread in conjunction with learning the elements and fundamentals of art. You can also discuss the visual elements of various professional artists as well if you keep it relatively articulate and civil.
Submit your drawings, receive feedback or critique others! Share your knowledge and remember to thank those who've critiqued or red-lined your drawings. Most importantly, have fun!
Fresh off the Mayflower? Then do yourself a flavor and check out /ic/s complementary subordinate sticky here:

GOAL: Draw 5 Pages per day till you finish his book. You can draw more or less per day if you want to fit around your routine and drawing pace.
But the aim of the game is to build consistency, some fundamentals etc... But this could be fun for /ic/.

make a challenge on LAS my friendio friend
I wish I had some to start but I know jack shit on the topic, I'm actually here for help on where to start.
Pic unrelated
No clue if these are /ic/ approved, but my go-tos are:
JH Williams III's Batwoman run.
Shinichi Sakamoto's art in Kokou no Hito.
Sophie Campbell's early work (Wet Moon 1-3, Water Baby, The Abandoned)
Inio Asano's Oyasumi PunPun.
Uh, I really like Incase's work (Alfie is his current webcomic, alongside some porn oneshots and pinups), and he posts a lot of progress work on his twitter which is neat to see.

sums it up pretty well
This is the first serious thing ive ever drawn, i used some artwork to copy (didnt trace cos wanted to practice getting proportions and shit right) It took about 4 or 5 months, working about 2 or 3 hours a day on it. I drew real simple lines and smudged them until i was happy with it (didnt know about the scattering tool in photoshop and i guess that's why it looks so blurry)
How can i get faster? I feel like it's not a cast of practice, it's my method that's slow.
Try different methods, watch other artist paint via streams, youtube, etc. to see what methods they use (traditional, digital, etc.). Best advice would be focus less on blending out colors, that'll take up a lot of your time.
>>2781224
You'll get faster by drawing a lot.
>>2781302
this is your answer OP. Also nothing wrong with being slow.
Looking for good pen and ink artists to study, any recomendations
also, i know this drawing is frank cho, but who is the artwork homaging? I feel like ive seen similar art and style but with a girl in a dress and a demon or something that was also pen and ink
>>2776725
reminds me of alphonse Mucha
Joseph Clement Coll, Charles Dana Gibson, Frank Frazetta
Bernie Wrightson comes to mind.
