My flatmate and I have two frames for five postcard sized pictures here, and want to fill them with something good.
Since we already have "Yesno, the Whale of Choice" (see pic related), which is a play on words in german, because whale (Wal) sounds like choice (Wahl).

So going with that theme we thought of "The range of possibilities" which, again in German, would be a pun because the german phrase for the range of possibilities would be the frame of possibilities.

Now obviously this in and of itself is neither that funny nor actually good, so I need to find something actually good to fill it with.
Sadly so far we didnt come up with anything as good (subjectively) as a darwin style hand drawn sperm whale.

Anybody have any ideas what could be contained inside the range/frame of possibilites?

The alternative idea was to just go full edgy and fill them with shooped pics of us in politically incorrect poses (ie as guards in a concentration camp, threatening people side by side with famous german terrorists etc) really just to fuck with normies coming to out apartement.
Im just afraid that it wont be big enough that you could see anything, since most if not all would be black and white and old photographs.
Any feedback on that idea as well?

What do you guys think of this video art piece? I'm a painter/drawer traditionally, but artists should try working with moving images, and they will more and more in the future.

I was a promising artist once, making 2 or 3 works a day. I've been trying for about 5 years to to find a base job that pays the bills while I grow. Got a solid 7-3:30 job that makes me stare and numbers all day long to the point all I want to do at home is sleep or nothing.

Not sure what the next step is. I hate myself more a little each day, and walk by people who a blank despondent face.

In one instance I referred to a new contract being created as a city "drawing up a new contract." I was yelled at and humiliated for about 5 minutes by a manager that didn't know that drawing up a contract was common term. She told me not to start getting creative on her. Wow.

A lots of people hate Bic Evolution pencils but I love them. They are perfect because they have light hard pencil tone but it's HB so it's soft without that awful scratchy feeling of H pencils. They are perfect for inking because the are light and easy t erase

How does one get better at designing and drawing vehicles like cars, bikes, trucks, stationary and in motion, from different angles/in action?


I've been practicing drawing regular objects, even firearms but they all look so squarish and obtuse.

How did abstract art get to the point where shit like this started to actually be taken seriously by the general population?

Like if you started lying to someone about how a sculpture of a prolapsed anus was more appealing than the paintings of the Italian Renaissance and they actually started to go along with it and spout bullshit like "I do say dear chap, the tightness of this asshole represents the duality of humanity and it's stranglehold on nature".

Even if someone is blatantly lied to and surrounded by subversive propaganda, surely there is a certain point where common sense or SOME sort of inherent natural instinct would take over and supersede the lie?

I miss being a NEET and drawing 5 hours a day. I've cut myself down to 2 on a good day, 1 on an average one.
